Maybe we could change his name to O'hypocrite, or O'flipflopper.

So, Obama really didn't say this even if he's on the video saying it? You're becoming more r****ded everyday.

He said it, and right or wrong, if he goes against the will of the people, via Congressional v**e, it would be a mistake if The President acts against that v**e.

Congress would have to live with their decision, along with the people, if non-action proves to be a mistake.

I am against intervention, but there is certainly as much evidence for the strike as there was for entry into many of the military interventions of the past 50 years.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 7-8 times, shame on me. I'm tired of seeing young Americans die, or suffer for years, due to our foreign policy mistakes. I witnessed it personally during my stint in the Viet Nam War, and have, ever since...first hand.

If Congress approves the strike, then I think every legislator should be required to have at least one family member serve on the front lines if things escalate into anything resembling all-out war. Preferably, a son or daughter, or grandson/granddaughter. Certainly, someone of significance to them.

Let them share in the experience of war, with a personal investment.

I agree with sending "their" children to fight "their" wars. But we're not likely to ever see it happen.

With that, I also agree. Examples of such are few and far between. It wasn't so in the distant past.

I am known well for being pedantic and verbose. I will keep my response quite brief.

I could have placed more. That was brief! :!: :!:
