Sure glad we stopped that evil Bush from putting water up the nose of those 3 known terrorists but am glad the saintly Obama is in charge of deciding to k**l thousands of suspects (along with anyone near them at the time of Obama's execution).

Dave - I think you'll like this if you haven't already seen it.

Thanks, voice, I enjoyed that - but the scary part is how many left wingers probably think that way - power in the executive is great when one of theirs is there ....

I think that's part of the difference between lefties and righties. Righties have a tendency to view things long-term, while lefties don't look much past today.

I'm not sure lefties even look at the past, let alone the future - and wh**ever they look at it seems feelings are more important than thoughts just like intentions are more important than results.

The President's megalomania is out of hand, but it is beginning to draw Congressional attention. His CIA Nominee, John Brennan, is getting the Senate filibuster treatment, and the Republican Senators who are determined in this quest are Rand Paul of Kentucky who is leading it, Mike Lee of Utah, Ted Cruz of Texas, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, and Marco Rubio of Florida. Brennan is being savaged for being the originator of and prime mover behind the overuse of drones and for ignoring the ideological basis (radical Islam) of the terrorists the U.S. is now facing. (source: Heritage Foundation).

We MUST support their efforts in this case. Brennan sees no wrong in using armed drones across the skies of America.

Heritage Foundation states: "Brennan insists that putting any focus on the radical ideology of the terrorists who presently threaten the U.S. would be counterproductive and wrong. This is ludicrous. How can a man lead the key U.S. intelligence organization when he rejects the explanatory values of ideology in this conflict?"

Brennan clearly is a person who puts personal political gain above national interests, including national defense. While serving is a very high position in the CIA, a position that made him privy to the most privileged information he asserted, clearly and strongly, that enhanced interrogation played a crucial role in eliciting information that saved lives.

Then, as a political appointee he said that he learned he was wrong from reading a partisan report that disputed what he earlier said he knew from first hand observation.

How is it possible to be a bigger phoney that that?

I believe that the PC term for that is "evolving" for Dems, or "flip-flopping" for Repubs.
