On Capitol Hill Republicans are worry about Pope Francis political agenda, he has been invited to address a joint session of Congress by speaker John Boehner a practicing catholic. Some Republicans in Congress complained publicly about the Pope recognition of a Palestinian state and his gift of an "Angel of Peace" to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. For more than 15 years, Rome seemed to favor the GOP agenda, but now the new Pope is a booster of climate-protection petitions, he helped to establish diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, he calls on world leaders to abolish nuclear weapons; he is a defender of immigrants rights, campaigning for the protection of tens of thousands of unaccompanied children who cross the border into the U.S., and he backs the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention center in the U.S. military base in Cuba. Pope Francis said in Jan. 02, 2014, we have to said NO to an economy of exclusion and ine******y and demand that Christians have a deep and active concern for the plight of the poor who suffer so many injustices from an economy that put profit above people, and everything comes under laws of competition and survival of the fitters, where the powerful feed upon the powerless.

Pope Francis the 266th Pope that graced the Vatican, has aligned more on the liberal stance than the prior Popes.
Perhaps the background he grew up was more on the socialist style of government, than the other conservative European Popes including Pope John Paul II who I like very much.
I am a devout Christian Catholic, conservative and adhere to the principles of the Catholic moral traditions. There are some issues that I may not agree with Pope Francis like G****l w*****g, and the gay/lesbian ways of life. Gays/lesbians lifestyle is prohibited in the Holy Bible. But the Pope perhaps recognizes it based on compassion. The words of God far exceed man-made decisions. God prevails.
Since G****l w*****g is not fully accepted by majority of the scientists, I think a g****l w*****g proponent Pope Francis is not in alignment with my Catholic thinking.
I think the Pope must focus more on the spiritual side for guiding the flock, instead on getting involved with politics especially the politics of Barack Obama, which is more of political correctness. The fact is I think president Barrack Obama's policies and actions are far more of destructive to the US interests than it is presented. And therefore if Pope Francis adheres to Obama's policies on c*****e c****e, I won't be able to conform with it.
I hope the Pope brings the subject of how to save those millions of Christians in the Middle East brought to extinctions by the radical Muslims.
I hope the Pope must rather confront or persuade president Obama to accept those Christian refugees to the US and are being chased by ISIS to be k**led.
I hope Pope will bring attention to Obama and Congress to question why millions of Muslims are accepted to the US when Christians are denied asylum.
I hope that Pope Francis will question the UN that if c*****e c****e is affecting the g****l w*****g, why is China allowed to reduce only 6% of air pollution, and the US is required 30% of air toxicity. China is the greatest polluter of the world, is the major supplier of low quality and toxic products all over the world.
I hope Pope Francis must bring and articulate in Congress that the Iran Nuclear deal is arming Iran to become the biggest nuclear enemy of the world, and the rests of Middle East countries follows. This is the biggest danger that Barrack Obama brings to the world by supporting Irans interests and not for peace and security of the world.
