MrEd, Yes they were. They were the bad guys in Europe from the day the N**is took over. Read Mein Kamph, Hitler's book about what he believed in. Think about the behavior of the SA, in the years before the N**is took over. Think about people being sent to concentration camps without a trial for political crimes. Think of the way minorities were treated as well as trade unions, other political parties which were outlawed, and opponents to Hitlers police state. Even the Boy Scouts were outlawed!

Hitler was evil from day one. Regardless of how world events would have t***spired, Germany would have turned out pretty much the same way it did.

Don't forget Japan's invasion of China in 1931. Also Hitler invaded several areas before Poland.
