Just decided to joined this forum after reading some of the discussions. Normally, I don't join discussion boards, maybe I'm getting old and have something to say. Interesting topics to say the least, thought provoking, but, does anyone ever feel they are preaching to the crowd? I dunno, just my two cents.

Welcome aboard SawedOff I hope that you enjoy thee ride here. A good share of us are conservatives but there are also a good number of liberals on here to keep us honest or at least pissed off on occasion. The ride can get bumpy at times but have fun and join in. Welcome, I hope that you enjoy yourself and the company of the people on this forum.

I often feel as though my "preaching" falls flat, but there are some real bright people here that will welcome you as you will learn.

The last two or three days many liberals have disappeared, they didn't seem to know what they were talking about, most of them. Lots, living in the past, Bush did this or that type of stuff.

Thank you, and especially for the tip on replying. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I try. I look around and see lots of people with the conservative mindset, but all we ever hear in the general media are the i***ts...er, I mean liberal view points. Well, guess I'll strap on my boots, cuz it sounds like the BS may get deep!

You will do fine. Just remember it isn't personal. I am/was a computer engineer and my commonsense is less than stellar. But, I try. Regardless, wear your high boots because the low quarters will be of little help!

Believe closed mind is what the democrats are working on. Remember when Bill was pushing for home ownership so we could lead money for the home with little or nothing down, now the b****s are below what they were before they started, think that's a bait and switch. Everyone should have the headache of owning but some can't afford it. Health care is the same, part time jobs that $62 a month hurts which will lead to more food stamps or maybe they wrip up another program.
