You cannot straddle the fence. No dual citizenship: that is a house divided. Sorry, it is either/or: country or God?

"Render unto Caesar and unto God"

Jesus, Himself told us we could do both in one of His best known commandments: "Then said he to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

We, as Christians, are to serve our nation to the best of our ability, with the full understanding that we are sojourners, for our Lord has given us citizenry in Heaven.

Unless you align your words with Holy Scripture, no Christian will hear, for it is Jesus' voice they obey.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”
John 10:27-30

Jesus instructions to his followers were explicitly to be a good citizen, to the best of their ability:

"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
Romans 13:1

It seems that at present this evil government ensconced in the White House, is the government this nation deserves.

"For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ"…
Philippians 3:18-20

"It is good that our days on the earth are as a shadow; man's life is expressed by God's Word as days, not months and years, being so short; and by days on earth, in distinction from the days of heaven, or eternity; and there is no one abiding; not long, much less always, being but sojourners on the earth.

...'so Cato in Cicero is represented as saying,"I depart out of this life as from an inn, and not a house; for nature's God has given us this earth as an inn to sojourn, not a place in which to long dwell:'"
(Jonathan Gill's Commentary)

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
Philippians 3:20-21
