the left's r**t strategy---9JH

"We also gave those who wish to destroy space to do that as well." Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Quoted at the Daily Beast, 4/26/15
"Baltimore's Violent Protesters Are Right- Smashing Police Cars is a legitimate Political Strategy. — HEADLINE, Salon. 4/98/15
"This is the perfect response to anyone calling for nonviolence in Baltimore" —

Folks There's a reason George Soros gave at least $33 million to fund the Ferguson protests and bus in outsider demonstrators, as reported by the Wash Times.
There's a reason liberals openly encourage racial violence, as Marc Lamon Hill did during the Baltimore r**ts, declaring on cnn: " "There shouldn't be calm tonight." There's a reason Obama has sicced his Department of
Department of Justice on some 20 police departments across America, using a Clinton-era statute to basically put local cops under federal control with "consent decrees" for civil rights violations I
Fifty years ago, a series of deadly race r**ts swept through urban communities, particularly in the Northeast. From 1964-1971 there were, reports pbs, more than 750 r**ts. The property damage was severe: in Newark it was estimated at more than $10 million, in Detroit the estimate was $45 million, and in Watts it soared to $100 million, according to pbs.
Not only has there been no recovery for the cities hit by severe r**ts, they are in fact far worse off than they were pre-r**t. National Bureau for Economic Research [nber] issued two reports covering several American cities from 1960 to 1980. NBER had no preconceived agenda and even noted that "in theory, the aftermath of the r**ts could have been positive, with all the government money that flowed into the area which could have helped improve the area and attract new commerce and people."
Between I960 and 1980, male employment in cities with severe r**ts dropped 4 to 7 percentage points compared to similar cities. The drop in real estate value had a devastating effect on black wealth. As The New York Times reports, "The 1960s r**ts destroyed much of the accumulated wealth of many of the most prosperous African Americans, those who had left the South for the greater economic opportunity of industrial cities."
Naturally, Democrats rushed to the rescue. Their "solution" in the 60s: ensure that federal money is funneled through Democrats. Predictably, the problems are far worse now than when they started "fixing" them. Here's how this played out in four of those cities:
BALTIMORE. "This is a ... completely depressing tour of the damage caused by the r**ts of 1968 in the wake of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination. What makes [it] so depressing is the fact that so much damage remains, that armies of urban planners and developers and oceans of dollars and good intentions haven't and developers and oceans of dollars and good intentions haven't been able to repair Baltimore..." — Baltimore City Paper, 9/17/08.

Nice rant. I wonder what would happen if REPUBLICANS were in charge? 1. The economically disadvantaged might find themselves under arrest for resisting arrest without violence. 2. Police work becomes less stressful as more unarmed thugs and hooligans are shot. 3. Freedom of Speech is replaced with You have the right to shut your mouth and I would advise you to do it! What a Wonderful World!
