You better read that bible again fella! I'm pretty sure your old God buddy tells you k**l people for a whole bunch of silly reasons(75)!
I repeat:
Grugore, you are dealing with a reprobate mind that cannot possibly presume to be an authority on the Word of God. "read the bible again"? OK. Let's do that. Just remember, Text without context is pretext.
It is clear throughout the Bible, particularly the OT, that when a tribe, a culture, a people defy God's commandments and worship idols, erect altars to false gods, sacrifice their children in the fire, ens***e their own and others, execute the mentally ill, the r****ded, the lepers, and wage war on and plunder and rape their neighbors, they will invoke the wrath of God.
Every Hebrew priest, prophet and king had to deal with their people's fall from grace. For those who failed to heed the warnings, Justice was severe. And for those who took the warnings to heart and repented, the blessings were great.
The stories of Ahaz, Manasseh and Josiah told in 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles are probably the most famous examples.
Although Jesus did not mention the evil kings, He did expound on the one unforgivable sin for which Ahaz and Manasseh were guilty.
In the Valley of the son of Hinnom near Jerusalem is a site known as Gehenna. In those days, Gehenna was Jerusalem's trash dump. It was here that Manasseh built the golden idols upon which he had the children burned. At night, in the crimson light of the fires, the people danced, blew their horns and beat their drums to drown out the screams of the burning children.
He (Manasseh) sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger.2 Chronicles: 33
Those who accuse God of being a wrathful, murdering, violent monster are totally ignorant of Biblical t***hs and have no business pretending they do.
