Bobby Jindal's stock just went way up!!! FINALLY, someone said it!

Washington – Donald Trump is a narcissist and egomaniac who thinks only about himself and is not a serious candidate for the 2016 Republican p**********l nomination, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said Thursday in a speech that opened a new rhetorical front for Jindal and his own struggling campaign for the White House.

“The idea of the Donald Trump act is great. The reality of the Donald Trump act is absurd,” Jindal said in a speech to the National Press Club that amounted to an 11-minute screed against Trump, the billionaire real-estate developer and reality-TV celebrity who is leading the crowded Republican p**********l field in opinion polls. Jindal consistently ranks near the back of the pack in those surveys.

“He is shallow. He has no substance,” Jindal said of Trump. “He doesn’t know anything about policy.”

Jindal called Trump “a carnival act” and repeatedly referred to him as a narcissist and egomaniac. Like all narcissists, Jindal said, Trump is actually insecure and weak.

Jindal said he liked “the idea of Donald Trump” as an outsider attacking the establishment. But the danger in Trump’s candidacy, Jindal said, is that if Trump succeeds in winning the Republican nomination, he will hand the Democrats victory in the general e******n and squander a prime opportunity to apply true conservative values to governing the nation and save it from its plunge into socialism under Democratic President Barack Obama.

“It is time for us to tell him, ‘Donald, you are fired,’ ” Jindal said, alluding to Trump’s reality-TV role auditioning job applicants on “The Apprentice.”

The speech could be a preview of a line Jindal may try to take Wednesday, when he is scheduled to participate in a nationally televised debate among the Republican candidates on CNN. Because he ranks outside the top 10 in national polls, Jindal will be relegated to the second-tier debate to be broadcast before the prime-time event headlined by Trump.

Nothing new about a "back of the pack" runner to try to use the PRESS to elevate their own standings by tossing anyone else under the bus.

The majority of the PRESS and of course the LIBERALS in the USA just do not "get it"...Trump signals the exact desires of this United States Majority. WE the PEOPLE are all done with the smoke and mirrors of "politics as usual"....

I am sure after President Trump takes office, Jindal will be at the head of the line seeking some sort of deal or favor to be given by Trump....it will be interesting to see how THAT will work....Hahahahahah!

=====================================

I'd love to see a debate between Trump and Jindal. Jindal would wipe the floor with Trump. Cruz, Paul, Walker and Fiorina would do the same.

Trump is high on ego and low on substance. In a name...Donald Trump is the "Tony Clifton" of this e******n cycle.

The people that support Donald Trump are the same type of people that elected Obama. This analogy has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with people's uninformed perceptions.

As demonstrated in every e******n, "Joe Public" doesn't take their civic responsibility seriously. They're too busy. They're usually single-issue v**ers, or single "reason" v**ers.

Example:

TRUMP- Supporters like his unapologetic big talk and comedic riffs.
OBAMA - Supporters either liked that he was black, or he was handsome, or sounded like a news anchor or looked good in a suit.
BUSH - Supporters liked his down-to-earth persona. He seemed approachable. Beer drinkin' buddy.
KENNEDY - Probably like Obama, most women (and even men) v**ed for him simply because he was young and handsome.

Basically, they v**e based on superficial reasons.

That's as deep as the American E*****rate thinks. Maybe 10% of the e*****rate really have a good grasp of the issues; where the candidates stand and their record on each issue...but 90% of the country couldn't be bothered with actually doing due diligence on vetting their candidates.

And THAT'S why we're in the mess we're in. It's not a Democrat-Republican, Left-Right, Christian-Muslim, White-Black, or ANYBODY ELSE'S fault. It's our own damn fault for not doing our civic duty.

Olden, I too would like to see Trump debate one and all of those you mentioned. I think you would be unpleasantly surprised.

What has Trump done or said that even remotely gives you the impression that he's a serious candidate?

Jindal is 100% right about Trump. He's a clown. Or, at least, that's his act.

I have my theory and suspicions about what Trump is up to, but theory aside, all one has to do is listen to Trump and it's crystal clear that he has a zero grasp of the issues.

He spouts platitudes like "You're gonna get so tired of winning"... Really? Isn't that what Charlie Sheen used to say before he lost his sitcom, and everything else...including credibility?

I don't know what the hell people are getting from Trump other than hubris and manufactured bravado.

I mean, I know we're all desperate to "win", but are we so desperate that we ignore glaring signs in front of us?

I all but lost all faith in the American E*****rate when Obama got re-elected. And, NOW, when we have a chance to put a real serious conservative candidate in office, we're blowing it on Trump. I swear, this country is hell-bent on self-destruction.

We have the best line-up of great candidates that I've ever seen in my lifetime. Cruz, Paul, Jindal, Walker, Rubio and even Carson and Fiorina. That's a very strong lineup. All of these great candidates, and 30% of the poll goes to Trump? We deserve everything we get for this level of stupidity.

That's like having Rodgers, Brady, Luck, Romo and Roethlisberger on your roster and you pick Johnny Manziel as your starting QB.

The level of stupidity was quite evident, twice, in '08 and '12. It won't be repeated for a third time.

Trump is kicking their asses at the game they invented, long ago the republicans have given up respecting knowledge, t***h or sophisticated solutions to problems, and it has worked. The shift to; if you arn't with us you are against, us my way or the highway and most importantly the rejection of facts and t***h is now coming back to bite them in the ass. As long as Trump sticks to his message that Mexicans are criminals the Arabs are terrorists and the entire government is stupid he will exploit the moronic v**ers the republicans have cultivated for years. Jindell and Cruz can debate circles around him and he will just say he is being fed gotcha questions and that the press is out to get him. Trump can lie through his teeth and make up his own version of reality to suit the moment as long as he continues to spew his populous crap in a loud unapologetic voice. The chickens have come home to roost.

====================================

It IS being repeated again...including YOU if you think Donald Trump is anything but the class clown of this e******n.

It's been repeated for decades with the slight exception of Reagan. Remember Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, GHWBush, Clinton, GWBush, Ofrigginbama!!!!???

Trump and Hillary are leading in the polls for crying out loud!!! I don't know if it can get any worse. Trump is a clown and Hillary is a criminal...and yet, the American E*****rate seems to not have any problem with it.

Don't sell the American people short...there's still plenty of stupidity to go around for most of them.

We finally get a Republican lineup worthy of note and consideration, and 30% think Donald Trump is the answer. And worse, the Dems are sticking with Hillary. I mean, you can't write this stuff, it's so insane.

This must be what it felt like in Russia in the early 1900s, or Germany in the 1930s. UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!!!!

The level of incompetent GOP p**********l candidates was quite evident in 2008 and 2012. It will be repeated a third time.

While I can't disagree with your first sentence, I certainly can with the second. There will be no Democratic President elected in 2016. On 1 Jan 2017 a Republican President will reside in the Oval Office. But, hopefully, it won't be another Republicrat.

Even with all of the right wing conspiracy, B******i, e:mail server, Bill Clinton adultery, Huma Abadin, private server installer attacks, she still kicks the butts of all the GOP clown car riders.
