Can anyone tell me what this comment by Sarah Palin means ?
"So up there in Alaska, across the way Russia," Sarah Palin said. "You know there is a name for this taking advantage of America. There is a Russian name for that. And it is called 'fortushka.' And that means Obama's window of opportunity. So as Obama leads from behind the skirt of his right-hand man, Valerie Jarrett, then it's up to Congress to close that window. He may propose. You dispose, Congress. You gotta be in it to win it because we want peace. With unapologetic mighty red, white, and blue, will have peace."
The quote comes from a comment by Rachel Madow, asking what it means. I think Palin made it yesterday at the Tea Party rally. If anyone knows any differently, let us know.

Hard to make sense of it ... where's the quote from?

Oh, it's rally rhetoric. Now it makes more sense to me. Seems Madow (or her clever writers) strung a few rally cries together, put their own punctuation in, and made it sound disjointed and nonsensical. I'm pretty sure you can find a great deal of this from anyone's extemporaneous rally comments. I suspect this is another thinly veiled attempt from the left to discredit this patriot.

At least she is spekin "American" when she babbles this nonsense, not like that Bush fella talkin "Mexican" all the time where folks can't understand him.
Do you have evidence that this consists of a series of different comments that were not made one after the other at the same time ? Or are you just assuming ?

You presented the quote ... what say you? Why does it befall me to prove anything -- it's your post. Provide a video or some original manuscript of the what Sarah Palin said so we can all decide for ourselves. Otherwise, you're just regurgitating something from a self-avowed lefty (with zero journalistic integrity) and making it your own.
I asked your opinion. That was an act of respect. It is not unreasonable for me to ask if you have evidence for something you surmise. I would like to know if her quote is being presented accurately. Wouldn't you ? So I guess what you are saying is that you simply assumed this quote was stitched together from bits and pieces of other quotes.

Judging from the accuracy of the l*****t hack maddow, the veracity of her claims are summarily considered inaccurate until proven otherwise,,,
