Psalm 91:15

He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

Think about the times you've been hurt, ill, or just wondering what next! Did you call on God? He tells us, no matter what the problem is, call on Him. He will deliver us and honor us. Our God will do that! Remember, He loved us so much He allowed His Son to die for us. Yes, we sin regularly, but He is faithful to welcome us back when we ask for forgiveness.

Jesus told the parable about the prodigal son, in Luke 15:11-32, who took his inheritance and wasted it on wild living - sounds rather like today. He finally came to his senses when all appeared lost. Sometimes that's what it takes before we can say, "I'm sorry, forgive me for I have sinned." The father, in the story, welcomed his son home with open arms. Our Lord, is greater than a human father, trust Him, turn it over to Him, and confess. He will deliver you and honor you.

I posted a thread about a pastor who was talking to his son and the audience about the son's drug addiction. It is very intense but well worth your time when you need to put your feet up for a while, which you do not do enough' While this video is not relaxing the prodigal son message is loud and strong.

You are so right about putting my feet up once in a while. I have been 'yard pushing' and got myself into some trouble so now it's rest time - shut your eyes to yard needs and study my needs - particularly since I'm going up to see my blue eyed baby boy and little girl. Once in awhile I need a scolding. I will find your post, but probably tomorrow as I'm going over to Cindy's tonight.
