The anti-cop sentiment continues and this time it’s at a famous fast food chain.

A south Florida Arby’s is under fire after refusing to serve a police officer that was in uniform at their Pembroke Pines location by one of their managers. According to a Facebook user, one of their “fellow officers was refused service at the Arby’s located at 11755 Pines Blvd, because she was a police officer.”

As the word quickly spread, other users and police supporters sent their thoughts to the Arby’s Facebook page. Here are more details according to another Facebook user:

#LivesMatter‬

“On the above date and time, a uniformed Pembroke Pines Police Sergeant arrived at the drive thru of your establishment at the listed location to purchase a meal. Upon contact with your employee at the window, he told the officer that he did not want to take her order because she was a police officer.
In consideration of current events and the extraordinary amount of anti-police media publications, rallies, and even spontaneous execution style deaths in recent weeks, I cannot imagine that a representative of your company would make a statement such as that. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that it was a manager!
The Sergeant chose to forego her decision to eat there, and simply drove away to seek out another place to purchase food on the go, as she continued her patrol duties of the city in which your restaurant thrives. I applaud her professionalism as many of us, in light of the amount of stress that the current climate has caused, may not have been able to contain their disbelief and disappointment. There are very few professions in which the employees must be cautious about from where they order meals. Knowing that there have been countless documented cases where an officer’s food was intentionally tampered with, and often in life threatening ways, this Sergeant’s choice to go to your restaurant today was a compliment to your business. Now, it has become one that none of us will be able to trust or visit again.
The incident has been documented in a Miscellaneous Incident police report (case number 2015-058698) and the story shared via e-mail with all police personnel. Our entire police “family” has been warned against patronizing your restaurant, as the anti-police sentiment may be delivered beyond just h**eful words. Obviously, the hundreds of us will share this story with everyone in our lives.
It serves to mention that after the employee was asked about his statement later, he dismissed it as “a joke.” I find it hard to believe that anyone with a phone, television, or a radio would believe that to be an appropriate form of jest, these days. I would also hope that the employees you promote to management would be the last to make an assumption such as this. I assure you that NONE of us find any humor in it at all. While we expect adversaries every day, we certainly do not anticipate a reception as described above, by employees of a restaurant to which we are called for situations where they, and your patrons, are threatened or victimized. Here’s hoping we are better received when you call for us, as opposed to when we participate in the success of your business.”

(I am not the author of this letter but merely a recipient of the information.)

Arby’s has issued an apology according to NBC 6 News:

The head of Arby’s restaurant chain has apologized to the Pembroke Pines Police Department after an employee at a South Florida restaurant reportedly refused to serve a uniformed officer.
Arby’s Chief Executive Officer Paul Brown and Senior Vice President of Operations Scott Boatwright contacted PPPD Chief Dan Giustino to apologize on behalf of the organization, according to a police report.
…
In a statement provided to NBC 6 South Florida, Arby’s said the company takes “this isolated matter very seriously as we respect and support police officers in our local communities.”
“As soon as the issue was brought to our attention, our CEO spoke with the Police Chief who expressed his gratitude for our quick action and indicates the case is closed,” the statement reads. “We will be following up with our team members to be sure that our policy of inclusion is understood and adhered to.”

It is outrageous that any person, especially one in the service industry, would treat others with such contempt. The fact that it was a police/peace officer makes it even more disturbing. :? Hopefully, Arbys took appropriate and immediate action towards the manager.

Can't help but wonder if the h**eful manager was a black person. The officer is pictured, and is white, but no picture of the manager. If the manager is white, I suspect that the franchise owner will most likely fire him, but if he's black, ... well, .... b****s are on that "Black Lies Matter" thing, ya know ....

Arby's "apologized" but that was totally meaningless because they didn't fire or discipline wither the store manager who backed the d********g employee or the employee.

Yea...hmmm...I wonder how all of the people refused marriage licenses feel in Kentucky right now...or how people might feel that getting pulled over for driving in one neighborhood, but not another because of their skin color...or how someone who gets pulled over for doing nothing, ends up getting jailed and has mental breakdown might feel, they k**led themselves, that's how they felt.

Maybe the manager got pulled over the other day and just f___king
When cops act like they care what citizens think about, then maybe we will give a s**t, in the meantime....good for the manager.

The picture you see in that article is of the Chief not the female officer involved.
Making this a racial issue is on you.

The source that I read the Sun Sentinel said that it was a 19 yo kid not the manager who made a lame joke as he (the 19 yo) presented it.
We will never know for sure, I suppose.

 This is what happens when fast food joints become political activists. That's a bad business model, but hardly unique. What was it Chik fill A did awhile back?

An enormously large number of people give a f__k what the cop thinks, and what anybody who is unreasonably discriminated against thinks. How many people care what the wonderful person you are think? As you know, you're in a really special class of people.

Because of this, if there is ever an incident or robbery there, I wouldn't go. This is horrible. My dad and brother were both police officers and retired now. I am so glad as it is just getting to horrible for these men and women in uniform.

You dumb, phuck! That picture is clearly a female, clearly wearing a sergeant's stripes on her sleeve. I don't know of any police department where the chief of police wears sergeant's stripes. The lowest rank insignia of I've seen on chiefs of police is captain's bars

The police chief's name is DAN Giustino, obviously a male. Like all liberals, you seldom have any idea what you're talking about.

From what I have read today the Police officer was a white woman and manager on duty at that time was a black male. Arby's has issued an apology but has not at this time disciplined or fired the manager at this Arby's. I'm sorry but at this time I have lost all respect for Arby's.
