She is no more protecting the first amendment than an Amish guy who gets a job as a bus driver and refuses to drive because it is against his beliefs. Because she is an elected official she will be fined or Jailed until she resigns or does her job. As an interesting aside, this POS protecting tha sanctity of traditional marriage realy loves traditional marriage, she is currently on her fourth! There is no hypocrite more offensive than a hypocrite who wraps themselves in false Christian teachings for their own self aggrandizement. Let's hope she is tossed in a cell with a couple of bull d**e outlaw bikers!

Oh, I agree she will be fined or tossed in jail or both no doubt, that's the way the dems have set the stage for Americans and our rights. As far as her marriages go, having 1, 2,3,4, or 20 does not make her a POS as you so eloquently called her. And you know she is doing this for self promotion how exactly??? It is not wise to guess why she is doing what she is doing, as you really have no clue now correct? And to be honest it really matters not why she is doing this, the first amendment gives her the right to exercise her religious beliefs whether you or I like it or not. Protection under the law, is protection under the law. A criminal who may have had a search warrant served and police found what they were looking for and s/he admitted how they got it can and will get case dismissed if every i is not dotted and every t not crossed on the warrant. That is his/her protection under the law.

She has no role in making law.

Under the law, gays can marry.

Refusing to follow the law does not in any way fall under freedom of speech.

She can refuse to do her job, be fired, fined or sentenced to jail time. What ever the local law call for.

Once more, she has no right to disobey the law..

It matters not a wit if she, you or anyone agrees with the law.

Unless and until it is overturned the law stands...
