I keep wondering how much good conceal carry will do when a gang of 12 to 100 attacks the person carrying. Surely they all know that carrying won't do much when the magazine if limited to 10 rounds if there are 12 or more of them. I agree that it is the only way to go but sure don't know what their attitudes will be when they attack. Yes, I want to take some of them with me when they take me out.

I don't carry just one clip.

After removing the first four or five I would venture to say the others would pull back and run. Just MHO. The other poster had it right, always carry at least one extra magazine.

I do. Although I love my Sig, my Glock .40 holds 15 rounds, instead of 10. Decisions, decisions.

My Smith and Wesson holds 14 rounds but I wouldn't really feel very secure with it and 25 of them attacking me. I could get all of them with an extra mag but if they didn't run I would expect them to get to me before I emptied the second one on them.

If all of that 4 or 5 fell to the ground it may work, but I have heard that one cop who carried a 9mm, like mine, claimed he hit one of them at least 22 times before he went down. I would expect at least one of that 4 or 5 to be using drugs like that one was.

I carry four clips two with hollow points and two with the regular slug. Each clip holds sixteen rounds thats 64 rounds total. If I can't get them all I will at least do some damage to them.

I can assure you that if you shoot 1 or 2 of the cowards the rest will flee like scalded dogs,,,cowards run in groups for a reason, it's because they don't have the courage to do anything alone. they're like a pack of hyenas,,,,k**l the leader the rest will scatter.................a gang is simply another word for a bunch of cowards.......................

Bahmer, a point of non-contention, information only: any 'clip' that holds more than 8 rounds is considered a magazine. I use the number 8 because when carrying my M1, it used M1 clips. However, a M1 carbine had a magazine, if memory serves me. My British .303 also uses a magazine. Perhaps I am in error? After all, that was 60 years ago and one's memory does tend to have a lapse or two.

I guess we are both wrong on this one. Here is the definition that I found on the web from I believe a former Navy Seal. So I stand corrected kind sir thank you very much. I guess that you are never to old to learn.
TheBlaze spoke with Brandon Webb, the president of SOFREP media and a former Navy SEAL, about the difference between these two firearm components and why its important to be clear with your terminology.
Its common for people to get the two mixed up, Webb said. If you hear someone talking about clips
you know they dont know the difference.
No one uses clips anymore.
A clip describes cartridges held together with a strip until they are loaded into a firearm.
A magazine on the other hand is is a container that holds the cartridges. Sometimes magazines themselves are loaded with cartridges by clips. On most firearms a magazine is detachable and replaceable.

Glad I read that; I was going to post it myself. One correction: I had an SK with one of the detachable 30 round mags. It was loaded with stripper clips. By the way, an SK is a pretty accurate weapon when you put some decent sights on it. I know my groups shrunk, considerably, simply be replacing the rear sight with one that was worth a damn.

See bajojack us white boys are good for a few things just not very many though. We do have to be led in some things and other things you are probably better of doing yourself.

I'm African-American. I don't do anything for myself if I can get whitebread to do it for me. You owe us.
