I have always felt, I do better when we all do better. Money has never impressed me due to the fact most great fortunes were built on criminal activity. Don't get me wrong, I like my creature comforts but not at the expensive of others not even having the basics.

In a large part this country owes its' love of money to Madison Ave. It is not enough to be comfortable, you must have the latest thing. In the end your things end up owning you. You end up spending vast amounts of money maintaining your things and acquiring things you simply do not need. We are to easily lead.

My child and grandchildren taught me a valuable lesson. On holidays we do not give gifts we pool our money and rent an apartment for a homeless family for a year. Since we began this all the families we have helped have become employed and now have a sense of p***e in themselves. Some have gone on to help other families.
