Charles Barkley speaks

Longtime Democrat and outspoken NBA legend Charles Barkley believes urban b****s have done nothing to help themselves by repeatedly v****g for Democrats.

He doesn’t think v****g for Republicans would fix all the inner city’s problems, either — but he’s nevertheless planning to v**e Republican in 2016.

“Black people have been v****g for Democrats their whole life, and they’re still poor,” Barkley told sports broadcaster Dan Patrick on Friday. Patrick asked Barkley how he felt about Donald Trump as a possible president.

That got Barkley talking. From The Chicago Sun-Times:

“I like Trump,” Barkley said. “The few times I’ve been around him, he’s always treated me cordial. But I’m going with Pat Ka … Kasich … I can’t pronounce his name … the governor of Ohio — John Kasich. He’s the guy that I’m supporting right now. You know, Dan, it’s tough for me to v**e for a Republican but he’s the guy I’m v****g for right now. He’s the leader in my clubhouse.”

“So you’re going to stay Republican?” Patrick asked.

“Ah, well, I v**e Democratic most of the time,” Barkley said. “But the democrats don’t have a candidate I really like. Neither one of the parties is doing anything for poor people. They’re both full of it. Black people have been v****g for Democrats their whole life, and they’re still poor. Republicans don’t do anything for poor people, either. So, I v**e for the person I like the most and right now, it’s the governor of Ohio.”

So to recap: Neither party cares about much of anything beyond enriching itself; Democrats have failed the black population centers where they have held sway for decades, and Barkley’s planning to hold his nose and v**e for a Republican — one whose name he doesn’t really know and can’t pronounce.

Good for Barkley, a free thinker. I agree with his assessment, neither party has done much for b****s or anyone else other than themselves. V**e the candidate, not the party.

The wisdom of Charles Barkley is one of the shortest books ever published. The first page starts with " I am no role model ".He ought to stick with basketball, something he knows about!

The proof is in the pudding, anyone looking can see. Or should I say anyone willing to see.
