A black driver got a Dayton police officer to admit to pulling him over for making ‘direct eye contact’ with him in a video sent to talk show host David Pakman.
The video was posted online earlier this month by the driver John Felton. Felton who has Michigan tags says he started recording when he noticed an officer was following him on the way to his mother’s Dayton home. “He just needed a reason. Why would you follow me every step of the way, every turn I make?”, Felton says.
He eventually was pulled over and the officer claims Felton did not turn on his signal 100 feet before making the turn. The officer asks for identification from Felton and his passenger before deciding to let them off with a warning. However, it’s Felton who now didn’t let the officer off the hook.

“You’ve been tailing me for how long? You just needed a reason to pull me over,” Felton says in the video. “No disrespect, I don’t have nothing against police officers, but all this sh*t that’s going on now? That’s some scary sh*t. To have a police officer just tail you, and then you pull me over, because you said I didn’t signal — what? Do you know how it looks?”

Felton asks the officer for a second time why he was pulled over. “Because you made direct eye contact with me, and you held on to it while I was passing you,” the officer responds.

“What? I didn’t even see you,” Felton says in disbelief.

“I’m not gonna argue about it anymore, sir. If you want to keep talking, though, I’ll just get your license back and give you a citation for the violation, and we can take it to court. I’m not gonna argue about it anymore,” the officer responds.

“OK, sir,” Felton said. “This is bullsh*t” Felton says to his passenger as the cop returns to his vehicle.

No biggy, been done to me and most of the people i grew up with here in texas, stared too long and had long hair, i'm sure due to the cool parachute clothes we were wearing that were popular in early 80s had something to do with it....white on white crime it was, didnt like it then, wouldn't bother me now.
Happy ending, no shots fired, no resisting, Felton handled it perfectly the way i see it.

I have had a belly full of the 'keep us safe' and the 'protect and serve' mantra so prevelant today. Law enforcement is an extension of the prosecutor's office, period. If they were responsible for my safety or your safety, they could be sued when someone burgled our home or assaulted us. Our safety is our own responsibility. They use the 'safety' mantra to trample on our rights.

With that statement, I will have to agree. Law enforcement uses fines and confiscation under ridiculous drug laws as a source of revenue.

This was not a guy trying to keep anyone safe, as a matter of fact, while the LEO was harassing this driver someone else may have been unsafe.
Meanwhile a clear case of a No. Carolina cop k*****g a young man by shooting him 10 times was dismissed and the prosecutor's office chooses to just let it go.
Chalk one up for the bad guys.

Tell me what happened to you that makes your opinion of cops so poor, every situation involving a cop you are against the cop no matter what instigated the situation to turn ugly.
Who will you call for help when you need it? Be honest, who? I seriously want to know, not trying to be a ass, just want some insight.

Little Willy
Nothing has to have happened TO me.
It is called empathy, and no, I don't expect that you would understand.
You don't have to TRY to be an ass, no offense.

Your response tells me all i need to know, thats not empathy.
And no offense taken, you will never command that power over me, but you still tried.

Good luck with that outlook on life.

Criminals are going to act like criminals. The difference is that LEOs are not supposed to act like criminals. It is astounding that you don't seem to understand that, Little Willy.

Explain why that bothers you, and that justifies shooting a cop in the back while pumping gas?.......cowards..

When you get that war you are looking for i guarantee you will not be happy with the outcome. So keep up the anti cop stuff going every chance you get.

Lennon ???? You and he are not alike whatsoever, try using his example towards others. You are just a h**er, nothing more, and i feel you get enjoyment when a cop gets shot..........way to lead by example
