What every liberal will love...
WASHINGTON (AP) - Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will officiate at a same-sex wedding this weekend in what is believed to be a first for a member of the nation's highest court.
Ginsburg will officiate Saturday at the marriage of Kennedy Center President Michael Kaiser and John Roberts, a government economist.
"Michael Kaiser is a friend and someone I much admire," Ginsburg said in a written statement Friday. "That is why I am officiating at his wedding."
The private ceremony will take place at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a national memorial to President John F. Kennedy. The 80-year-old Ginsburg, an opera lover, is a frequent guest at the center.
Same-sex marriage is legal in the District of Columbia and 13 states.
"I think it will be one more statement that people who love each other and want to live together should be able to enjoy the blessings and the strife in the marriage relationship," Ginsburg told The Washington Post in an interview.
"It won't be long before there will be another" performed by a justice. She has another ceremony planned for September.

Not just Liberals will love this, Dick Cheney was against gays until his daughter Mary came out. Rob Portman was also against gays until his son Will came out.
Ever since DOMA was struck down the right has been whining about why their Conservative justices didn't v**e in favor of them, that is easy, because Chief Justice John Roberts had a lesbian cousin sitting in his courtroom.
The right seems to be against gays until one comes out in their own family. Who knows who will be next!

I'd have no problem with q***rs, if they'd keep their perversion to themselves.

Ginsburg is a walking example of the need for "age limits" on the Supreme Court. Get rid of the witch!

Nah. The world is laughing at the Liberals PERVERTED sense of morality.
I know it is difficult for some to consider this question of gay marriage as an e******y issue, one that is fundamental to American ideals. Consider that many states had laws prohibiting inter-racial marriage, a point which also bothers some people. A number of states also had eugenic laws, which seemed quite reasonable as a means to protect society. Segregation seemed to be how God wanted things to be in the natural order of things. S***ery was not spoken of as an ill in the Bible. Native Americans were soulless savages. Women were not wise enough to v**e. The Declaration of Independence, when written, was as MLK said: a promissory note. We still owe.
