Wednesday Devotional - 8/26/15

Daniel 10:12-13
.... Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia."
The Lord sends each of us an angel to watch over us. Daniel's angel heard his prayer with the first words he spoke, but Satan had the king of Persia, a strong demon, detain Daniel's angel. Michael, the archangel, had to come and fight the demon to set the angel free.
With the first words we utter in prayer, our angel hears and is ready to act upon our prayers. If ever you wonder why your prayer isn't answered right away, remember what happened to Daniel, a chosen one of the Lord.
In this day, and in these times, Satan has loosed all the demons under his control. He is busy doing all he can to create doubt and unbelief wherever possible. An answer to your prayers may be delayed, but do not doubt, do not give up, keep thanking the Lord, and keep the faith.
