MONDAY PRAYER NEEDS - 8/24/15

I will put Prayer Needs out twice a month, on Mondays. If you have needs or good news please let me know.

When it comes to prayer, remember why Jesus was always heard by His Father - He gave God His heart and His time, God in turn gave Jesus His ear. We can all learn from that, if it is important give God your time, you have given Him your heart.

If you have any corrections, let me know that as well. Thank you Not everyone has the same depth of strength, they feel, "why did God let this happen to me?" They neglect to give Satan credit for evil, and then turn their hearts to God and say, "Thank You, Lord for pulling me through this." So, keep the weak in your prayers, we are all weak at times and can use all the prayers we can get.

Lord, we humbly come to You with our prayers of blessings and our prayers of need. We ask that You look down upon these, your servants, who are in need of Your healing touch in their lives. Our need for You grows, as does our sincere appreciation for all the blessings You bestow upon us and our dear loved ones. We thank You for hearing us and helping each and everyone.

GOOD NEWS

Alabuck had hip surgery, and came through it with flying colors. Even his therapy is going very well. His physical therapist's progress report says "he's far ahead of the curve in most all areas, and within normal range on the rest." Good report, Alabuck, keep up the good work!

Searching had been playing 'mama' to a baby llama named Nutmeg. Nutmeg was pretty sick, but the good news is she's coming along just fine. Most of us have cats or dogs, she has llamas, and they all love her. No doubt, people who know her say, "To know her, is to love her."

SWMBO & NPP Chaos, their Welsh Terrier puppy had a Canine good Citizen test on Saturday and passed easily. that is the first step of many toward getting his therapy dog certification, now he is allowed to be taken to the VA hospital along with Tank and Zeus. I am sure the residents will enjoy a lap size dog with a constantly wagging tail, hopefully he will be civilized.

NPP's friend, Jori, who was in a car accident has had the last surgery to remove a metal pin that is no longer needed, and she is doing great!! She thanks you all for your prayers.

NPP also Pete and his girlfriend brought the goats to the church picnic, for entertainment, and, as usual, they were a crowd pleaser.

NPP brought us this story about the church picnic. I am printing as is, because there is a very tender message in it: Yesterday and a produce free for all, where church members who have produce bring it, and ANYONE church member or not can come and get what they need. It didn't take long for all the produce and eggs to find new homes. As usual, no one was greedy. Amazing how wonderful people can be when they know the people giving them things. When it is the government they take more that they need, but when it is a neighbor whose garden or hen house the things came from, they do not take more than they can use. One little girl whose mother said the only time they can get eggs is in the free for all, otherwise they are way too expensive, made a cute card to thank the hens for the gift, even drew a chicken on it. The minister put the note on his wall.

NEEDS

Alabuck - I'm scheduled to have my right hip replaced the first week of November. He did well with the left hip, but is still on pain medication to control lumbar pain issues.

Alabuck has asked for prayer for his wife, Leanne. It's a three-fold prayer need, last March she developed shingles around her left eye. That lasted for about 6 weeks, but when they went to Florida to celebrate their 20th anniversary (belated CONGRATULATIONS due here), she had a second bout with shingles, sadly along with the shingles she developed an extreme sensitivity to sunlight and increased migraine headaches. The doctor thinks she may suffer from this for up to a year. Her doctor recently administered the shingles shot, we pray that helps. I have made some food avoidance suggestions, regarding the migraines, if anyone can add something to help - please do.

Alabuck is going to be our "poster boy" for unpleasant happenings this week. Lord, we have to take a moment here to pray for this couple. We know You can remove his wife's headaches in a flash, have that shot take effect to lessen any further shingles attacks, and relieve Alabuck's back pain, so we ask that You bless this couple with Your healing grace.

We further pray for a situation with a grandniece of Alabuck's. She has been drug dependent, and had a baby girl who is now in great pain. The hospital has resorted to a feeding tube, but this tiny soul continues to lose weight. At this point, all we can do is ask the Lord to care for this innocent baby as He see best. She has another child, that hopefully, the courts will place either with the father, providing he is stable and not a user, or with other reliable care. As for the mother, the doctors could not get her to stop hemorrhaging, and they had to do a hysterectomy, but even that has not stopped the bleeding. If she has been on meth, it eats through linoleum if a user urinates on it - imagine what it does to the insides of a person. We pray this will force her into drug rehab, and possibly become aware of the harm she caused her baby. We hope there are laws that will hold her responsible for the effects her life style has caused this poor baby.

Roxy can use continued prayer as she is looking to more surgery come fall, and she has been in a lot of pain recently. Let's keep her in our prayers.

Slatten said that his neighbor, Red, is not doing too well yet, and he hasn't heard about Barbara and Manny, in California, so we keep those three in prayer. Also, his grandson, Christopher, who is in a coma, nothing has changed. The family must feel very wore down and discouraged. When Charlie no longer talked to me, the nurses told me, "But, he can hear you, so keep talking to him." That is what I am passing on to Christopher's family.

Armageddun's dear wife has been suffering from fibromyalgia and we pray her chiropractor and possibly new diet will bring her welcomed relief. We are in prayer for your dear Sue, Armi.
NanaSue also suffers from fibromyalgia, plus she cares for her Tim, who has become more difficult since his stroke. She also cares for her grandchildren. Her daughter, and son-in-law are still unemployed. All this creates a tremendous hardship for her and the entire family.

Gapamen is having back surgery on Friday and she is in need of our prayers. She has a teenage daughter she is raising alone, keep both in prayer.

RockKnutne has had trouble with his back, which has improved significantly, but his hip/abdominal pull is taking longer. You are probably on muscle relaxers, be careful with them, Rock.

Loki is another who suffers from back problems.

Our NPP has had some serious back problems of late.

Age in not for the weak, or we should have been more careful when we were young. I'll go with the 'not for the weak' part.

LindaJoy's Aunt Nancy is in hospice care and the family has been told it could be any time. We keep LJ, and all the family in our prayers, they will need comfort as losing her mother was so recent.

LindaJoy is still recovering from her auto accident. God is good, and has heard our prayers, but she still needs prayer to resolve some swelling and a few headaches.

Searching has had some ugly bad luck, she finally got her roof, but the upstairs has to dry out, and NOW her computer has been hacked. We pray that other than having things changed to protect her computer and its information, that nothing was stolen to cause you other financial loss.

bdamage brought a need to us for a neighbor named Dutch. She is in her late 80's. Things seem to be going downhill for her, the hospital has inserted a feeding tube. BD is caring for her golden retriever, Julie. Lord, we place Dutch in Your hands.

Rufus can use our prayers, to help him stay away from threads that send him into 'outer space.'

Cantbelieve is still missing from our ranks, keep them in prayer.

Church of the End Times is a cult type of 'Churchianity.' That's a church where the Bible isn't really that specific or God didn't really mean what it says as a hard and fast rule. These can be mega churches where a charismatic leader is more interested in the money than in the souls so you hear 'feel good' sermons that are never specific.

Please continue to pray for a young man, call him Marie's ward, who has had a serious drug addiction, it appears he has been clean. Drugs are a scourge, don't give up on prayer for anyone you know is in need. The family can use prayer for all those who are affected by this situation.

Please continue to pray for the well being of the baby girl yet to be born, she is due in August.

We bring Miss Johnnie and Miss Rose to You, and ask that You help to alleviate their pain, and keep them in Your care.

Be with our troops, particularly the ones facing enemy forces. Keep them safe, and keep them and their families in Your care. We pray in Jesus name, thanking You, and praising You.

Keep our churches on message Lord, the message of the Bible and let their 'business' side take care of itself. Their real business is to lead Your flock, have it be with the truth. They have come under fire, Lord. Now is the time, for pastors to take a stand and ALL Christians to equally stand with them. Let us NOT bow to POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and deny what Your Word says. Thank You, Lord, for giving us courage - we will need it.

If the Lord doesn't answer your prayer right away, don't be a quitter, continue to stand on His Word, and continue to thank Him for your healing, and for the answer to your prayer. DON'T GIVE UP. continue to praise the Lord!

Also, remember, if you receive a word for someone, never just slough it off, it just may bring comfort to them.

Not everyone has the same depth of strength, they feel, "why did God let this happen to me?" They neglect to give Satan credit for evil, and turn their hearts to God and say, "Thank You, Lord for pulling me through this." So, keep the weak in your prayers.

Lord, first we ask that You forgive us our sins, next we ask that You come into our lives and touch us. Touch us Lord with Your healing hand, increase patience and fortitude where needed, increase our faith to know You are there, to know You hear us, and You care. Thank You, Lord for watching over each of us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

b color=green MONDAY PRAYER NEEDS - 8/24/15 /col... (show quote)

-----------------------

Many thanks, BearK, for the kindness and prayers you offered me and my family. We trust that 'God's will' will be done in these and all cases we're involved with. Your prayers are a welcome comfort to us all. Again, many thanks!!

If I may offer a slight correction regarding this portion of the post, "We further pray for a situation with a grandniece of Alabuck's. She has been drug dependent, and had a baby girl who is now in great pain. The hospital has resorted to a feeding tube, but this tiny soul continues to lose weight. We pray this will force her into drug rehab, and possibly become aware of the harm she caused her baby. We hope there are laws that will hold her responsible for the effects her life style has caused this poor baby."

Its NOT my grandniece that's having the issues. It's my grandniece's momma that has had a second child (by ?) and who is having severe post-partum issues and is drug dependent, as well is her newborn daughter drug dependent. My nephew is my grandneice's father (he and the mother never married and, in fact, broke-up shortly after the birth of their daughter), so technically, the newborn is of no blood-relation to me; other than being my grandniece's half-sister by a different father.

We've maintained a good relationship with my grandneice's mother for the sake of the grandniece. Oftentimes the mother is included in our family gatherings for that very reason. My brother and sister-in-law have supported their granddaughter's mother on numerous occasions, financially and by allowing her to live with them (for months at a time)while the "baby-momma" was "without employment" or at odds with her own family. They even provided her with a car to drive.

The doctors are administering morphine to the infant in their efforts to help the child through her DTs. It's heart- and gut-wrenching to see and hear a newborn SCREAM - not cry - and shake so violently, as she goes through her withdrawals from all of the different drugs that were discovered in her system. Right now, it'll be considered a miracle if the infant survives. It's too early to tell what affects the drugs have had and/or will have on her physical and mental growth.

My information is now, about a week old, and we've not been given any further updates as the "baby-momma" has quit talking to my nephew's family. This is one complicated and very screwed-up situation. In spite of there not being a blood relationship, we hurt for our grandniece because she was expecting to see her new baby sister and momma by now and is too young to understand the situation. We also hurt for the baby as she didn't ask to be turned into an addict 'intra-uterine,' and now, be forced to go through the living hell of drug withdrawal.

It's because of "baby-momma's" selfish, callous and stupid actions that so many have suffered. She KNEW what the potential cause and effect of her actions could/would be, yet she continued on with her smoking, drinking and drug-taking. Should " baby-momma" pull through, it's the wish of many that "baby-momma" lose custody of my grandniece, AND of the new baby as well (assuming the baby lives), AND be tried for attempted murder, felony child endangerment, felony child abuse, and any other criminal charge(s) that can be filled against her. And, once found guilty, be sentenced to no less than 50 years in prison with no opportunity for early parole.

To my way of thinking, "baby-momma" should've had an abortion if she was going to continue the abuse of her body and, consequently, abuse her unborn child by forcing it to become an addict itself. I believe it would've been far more humane to have aborted early in the pregnancy than to literally torture the baby to death, now.

In any case, may 'God's will' be done.

Thank you for the update and correction. This tragedy was so avoidable that the mama has no excuse for her selfish, reckless behavior. This baby, if she lives, may well have severe mental and developmental problems. From what I've read, it would be a blessing for this little one if the Lord decides to take her from this veil of tears. As for the mama, may the consequences of her actions be brought forward to hold her responsible.

An aside, reading writing in red is very difficult for these old eyes.

Slatten has passed on information concerning Manny and Barbara. Manny is undergoing cancer treatments, and Barbara is receiving blood thinning shots to combat numerous blood clots in her lungs. Their conditions remain serious. A brother-in-law is remaining in the area to keep an eye on each of them, as Barbara's memory does not serve her well. She is being cared for in a center. These two elderly people need your prayers, be generous with your time for them.

We ask, dear Lord, that You watch over Your loved ones. Guide the hands of those administering drugs, and then guide the drugs to their intended target. Thank You, Lord, for caring for them, thank You for caring for us. Keep us ever near You. In Jesus name we ask. Amen

And, thank you, Alabuck.

Thanks, npp! I'll try to keep that in mind. I had thought blue might be an easier color to see. Purple it is!

Our prayers are with the entire family. May God be with them and comfort them in their time of need. The baby is very special, she has no responsibility for her pain, unlike her "mother" It is my opinion that when a woman has had one drug dependent baby or is a long time drug user, her tubes should be tied. This baby will need all the love that she can get, and to be no where near her "mother" until the woman has been clean, drug free and sober for five years minimum.

Thanks, npp! I really appreciate your prayers! I must say, too, you're more forgiving and lenient than I am in this case. Blessings to you and your family!

I think of the poor infant screaming in pain and terror, it rips at my heart strings. We know God loves the children and sends them special angels, this child will need a special angel.

I've had a busy morning, but time to think between activities, and that poor baby has held on to me. A nurse, who is a friend of Cindy's, has told her how they suffer.

I imagine holding that little darling in my arms and comforting her rocking her back and forth and crying for her. wish I could feel the pain rather than her, I could take it more readily.
