Yup, I have had numerous referrals from conservative friends, so I have been watching you all for a spell and thought I'd jump in.
I am a common-type up here in *upstate NY* as I am a strict Constitutionalist and a stalwart conservative. I have been active @ the GlockTalk and Firearms fora (forums) for many years and am looking for a new home so to speak. I hope this is it, but if not, I'll drop away silently as I did in those other forums and go elsewhere.
My one fault is I simply cannot tolerate insincerity, unt***h, or deviousness.
And, there ya have it... maybe I'll be expelled before I drop out. ;-)

Welcome skyhook. This is mostly a conservative site. Lot of great post. You will recognize the libs. they are the ones that do a lot of name calling and ignoring the facts. Looking forward to your posts.

to katz: you conservatists make me laugh. everytime you come up with some ridiculous outburst i start checking facts and guess what? you people are a long way from having a corner on the t***h. surprise surprise. you think when you call someone a " lib " we are insulted. we"re not you know. just like you aren't when we call you "right wingers" . there are plenty of us so called "libs" out here it's just that we are not as radical. . we are more civilized than to call people names and ridicule them but you can better believe i can do it with the best of you. i could care less WHAT they call me if it makes their little selves happy.it's just that they think it's an insult and really we are proud of being a lib. it means open minded.something the ancient romans weren't huh? so glad we have came far since then---IN EVERYTHING!

Welcome aboard Skyhook you have all of the qualifications to fit right in on this site. We need more guns, more ammo, and more smart people and it appears you have all these and more. The pesky progressives get in here on occasion and how you deal with their name calling and diversionary tactics is up to you. Some of us ignore them while others try and engage them, so wh**ever is your cup of tea go for it.

Thanks, bahmer; I do so enjoy those progressives as I did grow up on a NY border farm and understand most of their motives and thought processes. :)

Actually, almost all of those of us hereabouts who funded kids through universities have plenty of 'liberals', 'progressives' upon which we practice. Our colleges and universities have a way of indoctrinating our youth.. the B-stards.
