It is pretty devastating. There's talk of a big El Nino winter, but those don't always deliver a lot of rain. The satellite view illustrates the biggest issue...no snow pack, which is the source of most of our water, not to mention winter tourist $$.

I'm already watering the plants with dishwater. Could be tough for years to come. And I STILL can't get anyone to shower with me to conserve!

Another 10 to 20 years, if CA is lucky, they need to import fresh water and desalinate much more or everyone will have to leave.

Forget about the rain. If Californians had any brains they would fire the morons who turned off the water pumps to save the smelt.
