Why would she wish to do that?

Rumitoid is my uncle (center stage in that picture). Should have told you sooner. He said OPP would change me and it has. Not for the better though; I am angry most of the time now. Frustrated at the density of some people but more so at the blatant lies and manipulations of politicians.

I have usually gotten along well with your uncle, considering we disagree on so many things. We mostly do so politely.I still don't see what that has to do with pennylynn.

BTW, your uncle has probably lived in NM long enough so it's okay for him to tell Texan jokes. (LOL) I used to live and work in Taos, and we got our seasonal invasion of i***ts from Houston and Dallas, followed usually by the even bigger i***ts from SoCal.
As far as your anger at politicians, who would not be, when apprised of the way these mostly self-serving, duplicitous weasels conduct themselves? They do say ignorance is bliss, and while I wasn't exactly blissful, I was happier when I was younger and under the delusion that politicians actually tell the t***h sometimes.

Buenos noches. (Or dias, rather ).

My uncle lived in Taos from 10/84 to 1/90, worked at Mainstreet Bakery as a breakfast cook from 3/85 to 3/89. Were you there then? Did you know him?

Ok. Do you remember Bruce and Feeny, owners of the Taos Inn, Doc Martins? Or Jim Wagner the artist?

I did not know these people, although I have been to the Taos Inn. The Taos Chamber Orchestra used to perform there, and Hector Garcia played there a couple of times.
I do know Michael Murphy, although I doubt he remembers me, I knew Dennis Weaver, who owned a home there, and RC Gormann, an artist who lived there.

Is the man on the left the close friend whose death so tore Rumitoid apart that he turned angry and confused and lost those who cared about him (like me, for instance)? We talked him through his daughter's decision to get pregnant again after almost dying from the first pregnancy and celebrated the birth of his grand daughter and the health of his daughter. Many PM's went between him and SWMBO and me asking him to seek help for the terrible depression he was lost in. He kept saying he would do so, but it got worse until none of us could reach him I really hope that he found help somewhere and is improving and the suicide thoughts are no longer a daily concept.

Which one of the two women are you? Picture so small I cannot tell? Is Rumi doing all right, has he found some much needed help?

I always liked Rumatoid. How is he. I always liked you too. Smart gal you are. I never argue much with the arguementative types. I already know I am right. I know I sound conceited.

I recognized Rumi almost immediately from a previous avatar of his, and after reading your thread intro. Quite frankly, I miss him and have tried to reach him via phone. I must say, I suspect there are those who thought you were Rumitoid. I also must add that I have found your posts ranging from spot-on to intriguing or interesting...although not all.

BTW, it was my understanding that Asiseeit headed back to his homeland a long time ago. I have not heard or read of him being back.

Lol, met all those you mentioned and even swam in RC's indoor pool. Friends of my uncle used to house-sit for Gormann and I got lucky to be skiing in Taos that weekend.

That's his very smart and smart-alecky (JK) son, Alec. His best friend from the age of five, Jimmy Galvin, is the one who died; they did everything together and you are right it devastated him and he has not been the same since. Nothing and no one could comfort him.

I am the one next to Rumi, 44 years old. The other is my mom, Carol, 78 years old. I will let this confusion slide; she really does look great for her age.
