SATURDAY PRAYER NEEDS - 8/8/15


When it comes to prayer, remember why Jesus was always heard by His Father - He gave God His heart and His time, God in turn gave Jesus His ear. We can all learn from that, if it is important give God your time, you have given Him your heart.

My error, but since I received some needs, I will post accordingly. I had said 'twice a month, on Mondays.' Well, here it is Saturday, I do look forward to some life outside of OPP, and my home. I'm going to my granddaughter's for her house warming today. This is her home, that she has picked out (with three children in mind), and she will be paying for. I pray the Lord blesses her home, her future, and her family. May warm memories be spawned within that space.

GOOD NEWS

Praise the Lord, when I think back over the week, I remember tidbits offered to me that are really BIG blessings. They may seem small, even to the receiver, but NEVER take even the small blessings for granted - He appreciates your thanks. How do I know? One time I thanked Him for something small, and it was as though I heard Him tell me, "You're welcome." I have always remembered that, so I share it.

Alabuck had told me earlier this week that he is coming along very well after his hip surgery. That should help his back as well. Keep up the good work, Ala.

Searching has finally gotten a roof on her home. Praise the Lord, the inside is drying out. Now Lord, take care of any mold that could form and squash it in its tracks. She has also completed her 'tick cure,' let us keep her in prayer that there will be no future reoccurrence.

Last, but not the least of blessings - my mower is running fine, even after my Wednesday mishaps. We have received the blessing of rain, upon an earth that was beginning to show some dryness. No doubt, the grass will be looking for me come Wednesday!

Thanks to the Lord blessing me with memory - I dug to the bottom of my mental barrel for scraps and came up with what I feel are gems. Sometimes, what appears to you as a small event really is a blessing, never forget to say, "Thank You, Lord."


NEEDS

Not everyone has the same depth of strength, they feel, "why did God let this happen to me?" They neglect to give Satan credit for evil, and then turn their hearts to God and say, "Thank You, Lord for pulling me through this." So, keep the weak in your prayers, we are all weak at times and can use all the prayers we can get.

Lord, we humbly come to You with our prayers of blessings and our prayers of need. We ask that You look down upon these, your servants, who are in need of Your healing touch in their lives. Our need for You grows, as does our sincere appreciation for all the blessings You bestow upon us and our dear loved ones.

No Propaganda Please, has asked that we keep these nine people and their families in our prayers: Susie Jackson, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, Depayne Middleton, Ethel Lance, Daniel Simmons Sr., Clementa Pinckney, Cynthia Hurd, Myra Thompson, and Tywanza Sanders the victims of the evil mass murderer, Dylan Roof. The really tragic part of this story is that if Roof had been committed to an institution, or a situation where he took his medication regularly - this probably would not have happened. He also had a previous arrest record, how was he able to obtain a weapon?

Slatten has asked that we keep two elderly Family members in prayer. They live in California, and they are experiencing health crises. His ex-mother-in-law Barbara is in her mid 80's with dementia taking her faculties severely away from her, and her husband Manny is suffering from stage 4 cancer. Also, his neighborhood friend Red has been taken to the hospital in Waco, put on a ventilator and appears in real trouble. He is taken to emergency often, but this seems to be an extreme situation. They are all very near and dear to him, and he ask for our prayers as they are all devout Christians who have led good lives. We need all the good Christians out there, so please keep them in prayer.

Armageddun's dear wife has been suffering from fibromyalgia and we pray her chiropractor and possibly new diet will bring her welcomed relief. We are in prayer for your dear Sue, Armi.

Searching has a baby llama she is 'mothering,' we keep your efforts in prayer for success, as well as the drying out of your home.

LindaJoy's mother has passed onto her glory, but LJ still has an aunt that is in hanging in there. She suffers from cancer, do keep her, and LJ, in our prayers. Losing loved ones seem to be upon her life right now, it takes a while, but the loss hits you. She can use all the lift-her-up prayers she can get.

NanaSue - Between caring for grandchildren, her husband, and family, she needs prayer for strength, patience, and discernment as to future decisions. O Lord, come upon this family with Your love and care.

bdamage brought a need to us for a neighbor named Dutch. She is in her late 80's. Things seem to be going downhill for her, the hospital has inserted a feeding tube. BD is caring for her golden retriever, Julie. Lord, we place Dutch in Your hands.

Roxy can use continued prayer as she is looking to more surgery come fall. The Lord has been good to guide the hands of the doctor's so far. Let's keep that in our prayers.

Rufus can use our prayers, to help him stay away from threads that send him into 'outer space.' Plus, he is probably lonely after taking his daughter back to her home.

Please continue to pray for a young man, call him Marie's ward, who has been trying to conquer his drug addiction. This may be improving, let's pray for good results. All families, who have loved ones caught in the grip of this foul scourge can use prayer, and those who are affected by this situation.

Please continue to pray for the well being of the baby girl yet to be born.

Protect our children Lord, the world is coming up with such evil it is mind-numbing. Demons are abounding for their last hoorah, keep them at bay, Lord. WE NEED YOU!

Be with our troops, particularly the ones facing enemy forces. Keep them safe, and keep them and their families in Your care. We pray in Jesus name, thanking You, and praising You.

Keep our churches on message Lord, the message of the Bible and let their 'business' side take care of itself. Their real business is to lead Your flock, have it be with the truth. Thank You, Lord.

If the Lord doesn't answer your prayer right away, don't be a quitter, continue to stand on His Word, and continue to thank Him for your healing, and for the answer to your prayer. DON'T GIVE UP. continue to praise the Lord!

Also, remember, if you receive a word for someone, never just slough it off, it just may bring comfort to them.

We have people on OPP that suffer personal problems, depression, uncharted changes that cause dilemma, worries over family members, and finances, problems that are far too common place now. Some would like their names mentioned, others do not, so for the names we know -- Lord, You are aware of each individual on OPP, if they have asked for prayer we pray You will soon help them, and bring relief for their situation, if they have not asked - we pray You respond to their problems regardless. We thank You for Your caring hand to pass over them and ease whatever their ills may be. We pray in the name of Jesus, to the Father, the Son, and the holy Ghost. Amen.

Lord, first we ask that You forgive us our sins, next we ask that You come into our lives and touch us. Touch us Lord with Your healing hand, increase patience and fortitude where needed, increase our faith to know You are there, to know You hear us, and You care. Thank You, Lord for watching over each of us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Try to find a reason to laugh, or least smile each day - it's medicine for the soul. If for no other reason, you can smile because Jesus loves you - just as you are.

Heard from Pete just a little while ago. He and his girlfriend took the goats to a pet contest yesterday, sort of a rehearsal for the Labor Day parade and contest. their dance with the goats won them second prize out of about 20 kids and pets, so they were elated. Just got off the phone with a couple of professional photographers we know. they have been photographers for years, are married and have two kids, oriental girls they adopted. Anyhow, they are going to ask David to go with them on a couple of one day trips to take photographs for a couple of calendars. hopefully he will accept, but he is still pretty unsure of himself outside the family so no one wants to push him. Will let you know how it goes. We are doing well, except for all the paperwork that still needs doing. the neighbors' grandson broke his arm trying to ride one of the LARGE goats they have, a 250 pound Boer goat ram (they are meat goats) Bad way to learn but sometimes boys will just not be careful, otherwise they wouldn't be boys would they?
