When reading this article, make sure to note where most of the advertising money for the tax cuts is coming from. Who will most benefit and what will be cut?

Right! The selfish pricks who would gain the most from a tax cut. Say what you will about Soros and Buffet, they are for raising their own taxes to help America.

These guys are just plain selfish- The hell with education. Threatening to take on any lawmakers who disagree with them. This is why we should overturn Citizen's United and publically fund e******ns. Catch up to Brownback? Kansas is fighting hard to catch up with Mississippi. Cutting education is eating your seed corn.

Soros and Buffet are both masters of tax avoidance - both have been battling the IRS for years - Soros keeps most of his profits from speculating off shore and Buffet's corporate structure is based on tax deferrals and avoidance - and yet folks like you still think they just want to give their money to the government but need legislative help in doing it - talkd about naive.

Quid Pro Quo, bahmer: Yes, but Soros' hundreds of millions contributions to Obama got him two billion dollars of our tax moneys from Obama to Soros' Brazilian off shore drilling company, as soon as Obama was elected. It's called kick back, I do believe. Just sayin the obvious.

Something that hasn't been mentioned is the fact that high tax states are hemmorhaging residents, and the ones that are being hemmorhaged are business owners and job creators, moving to low or no tax states. In response to Ann Marie, of course Soros and Buffet are in favor of paying higher income taxes. Since only a small fraction of their income is subject to income tax, it's a painless way to make themselves look good.

The other thing is people should really look back on Soros' life and what he has done in the various countries he has lived in and helped to destroy as well and how he manages to come out somehow wealthier than when he went in. Anyone that believes him to be purer than the driven snow is purely delusional. This the guy that got his start selling out his own people in Germany.

Perhaps a re-dirction to a new post: "A Plutocracy ruled by self-centered" might be helpful in this discussion.

I will have to be careful in my comments for a while, as I get used to my new "African-American" persona. I wouldn't want to be perceived as an Uncle Tom. In view of this, I would say that all rich white people are self-centered.

Along with hemorrhaging residents form high state taxes on individuals as well as businesses both boost the hemorrhaging of the populace of any given state. Along with that add in if the state is a right to work state or not. In Illinois we have high property taxes, income taxes, along with federal taxes and we are not a right to work state. We have a couple large manufacturers who were considering leaving and building in an adjacent state but I don't know whether the demoncrats placated them or not. Of course in the long run those in the right to work states will enjoy lower overhead to hire those workers because they won't have to pay all of the exhaustive benefits and will in the same token maintain control over the work force. That will increase jobs for all and help the companies to grow.

Along with hemorrhaging residents form high state ... (show quote)

Four of the highest taxed states are in the Northeast. In ascending order MA, NJ, NY, and CT. Are they hemorrhaging businesses and population? How are their economies doing? Just wondering.

I live in NY, and work here also. Can't speak to the other Northeast states, but NY has been losing population and wealth regularly - and manufacturing if close to non-existant in most towns and cities upstate. Tax burdens get heavier and heavier to the middle class - and a lot of wealth seems to have gone to the South.

I am not questioning you are telling the t***h but a site supporting your statements would be helpful.

Does that mean that all rich black people are not self centered? The other thing banjojack I would love to get rid of the political correct phrase of African American and maybe if we just got back to American no matter what the color we might just start healing our nation of racial tensions. At the very least if color has to be inserted then lets come up with different phrases. White is the presence of all colors and black is the absence of all colors so we can go from there. I personally prefer just plain Americans and if the individual wants to add color as a distinguishing characteristic that should be up to them.

Check the US Census. 30 years ago when I moved here, NY was the largest by population - it is now 4th
