Welcome to 1PP, jamebabe! We can use all the help we can get. Most of us here it would seem think essentially as you do. A few months ago I penned an article and I give you part of it here:

The division of powers has failed us because the Republican Party could not bring itself to confront the true enemy of America: the President and the Democrat Party. It is true they probably would have failed and then been blamed for the added expense of an impeachment, but it was NEEDED. The true Americans NEEDED representation. Many of us believe in miracles, and I firmly believe an impeachment of Obama would have been dismissed by the Democrat Senate in the sentencing phase, but at least the right thing would have been done,and who can say that a miracle would NOT have taken place? Now the Republicans in Congress try to out-think the enemy. I maintain, and not from a religious stance, that evil cannot be out-thought because good people cannot bring themselves to think as evilly as can our enemies. WE feel guilt – THEY do NOT. We KNOW our usurpers are evil, so what’s to be learned? The sole object should be to defeat the evil within our government.

There are limited ways to get evil people’s attention – and it isn’t telegrams, phone calls, blogs. They are impervious to such things.

I am the first to say that it makes me uncomfortable to come close to even talking about what I think could be, would be criminal acts in the past, the saving of America as we know and love it. Would it even be the America of the past? I am advocating nothing except THINK, PEOPLE, THINK. And please think quickly because I seriously doubt there is much time left.

Both parties lie, c***t and use the American people as tools for maintaining power. The Democrats want all your money and Republicans want to know all your business. However those who aren't among the elites in politics it is the matter on who's ideology has been on the right side of history.

L*****t wish to revise and rewrite history to suit their own agendas to better manipulate people.

The people on "the right" wish to preserve history as is and encourage others to learn from it.

Take that as you will.

Welcome aboard and I hope you have a wonderful ride with us. I see Tasine has weighed in and most of us feel as she does . The only problem we have is not being as well versed and articulate as she. I also would like to mention to use the "quote reply" tag at the bottom of the correspondence that you may wish to reply to. That gives the rest of us an idea of whom and what you are writing to and about.

Thank you, Alex. Not sure what sort of high standard I set other than I have given a LOT of thought to most issues in here, and have definite thinking about them and merely say so. But you guys are wonderful!!! So happy to know you and the other GOOD GUYS!!!
