Just drove through it yesterday. But, man was it ever crowded. Plus, lots of smoke haze. Wish I had a high end SLR camera back in the 60s/70s when we used to visit as my wife's aunt and uncle used to have a cabin there that we visited on occasion.

Sorry to hear that. Last time I visited Yosemite was about 25 years ago. When I lived in California (1961-1977) we used to visit the park 2 to 3 times a year but spent more time camping out in the Sequoia National Park and adjacent Sequoia National Forest where I used to fish for trout in the local streams. :-D
