FATHER, You are intimately aware of the struggle Rock is experiencing with the pain and the despair.

You know the desire of my heart for Rock to be healed of this back pain. I ask now for Your healing touch.

I know that You are able and that just like in biblical times, You can heal Rock.

I also understand that You will choose what is best for him.

I pray that through this trial, Rock will draw close to You and that You will be His comfort and strength.

I pray that ultimately, wh**ever happens, You will be glorified through Rock.

Rock, my brother in arms, I'm so very sorry to hear of your back pain. You know, I truly can sympathize and empathize with you, my brother. If you were in Middle Tennessee, I could turn you on to my orthopedic surgeon. If you could travel here, I'd be sure to have him blow a hole in his schedule to see you. He's THAT good!

However, I pray that the doctors treating you are giving you the best care they can and that your pain is being relieved. Let us know ASAP how you're doing and what the diagnosis and prognosis are. Know that I'll be praying for your swift recovery and for your family as you all go through this trying time.

I KNOW, first-hand, what you're going through, my brother. I know, too, that your prayers for me, in the past, were felt and were very comforting. I trust that God will hear the prayers of your OPP friends and allow them to help carry you through this as He has done with me and my several surgeries.
