Over the weekend a police officer, Sean Bolton, stopped a motorist for a routine traffic stop and was shot dead by the passenger.

There will be no cries of outrage, no marches, no signs that says "All L***s M****r" or family going on television demanding revenge, Sean Bolton was a white man who served in Iraq.

In October 2010, Bolton joined the police department. But he wasn’t the stereotype of a gruff, hard-as-nails cop, his friends said.

“If he could let them go with a warning and make sure they knew why they shouldn’t be doing it, he would do that. He didn’t like writing tickets or hauling people off to jail,” said Steve Clements, who met Bolton in college and labeled him “sweet and gentle.

“For a police officer to have that kind of temperament, and to take such a cautious approach to the use of force, he was a credit to the uniform.”

Added Klitzner: “He didn’t want to be a mean cop. He wanted to be a friendly cop.”

Sean Bolton was a Marine and a friend to all he met, may he rest in peace.

Forgive my ignorance, but I do not understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying that the police officer was somehow responsible for being shot? That somehow he failed to ask questions?

You did read the article, right? He found a car illegally parked, stopped to find out what was going on, and was shot by the passenger of that car. The officer was not shot with his service revolver, so that implies that the passenger had a weapon and used it to shoot the officer. There was a gun found in the field near the shooting.

Perhaps you are saying the officer should not have bothered with an illegally parked car. In other words, ignore the law because the driver/passenger were black.

As stated, I am unsure of your meaning. Would you be so kind as to clarify what you are saying.

If this is true? This is the first I have seen anything about it but sounds like Sean Bolton was a good person and God needed him else where. Sean Bolton is alive and well with God in heaven. Yes Heaven is there, were here is proof. Believe it because if it wasn't so Jesus would have told us.
