I think the old bugs had that kind of a setup

I miss the days when I could work on an engine myself. Nowadays with all the electronics and other gizmos one can't even see the bloody engine let alone work on it. :(

No just flat broke from the labor rates of the new mechanics that service all of this new technology. And the more expensive the car the higher the repair bill.

exactly why I lease
all repairs covered for three years
new car every three years
no tire replacement no nothing
and so far I have not gone over the limited 36000 miles
