I am totally stunned by the depth of my self-centeredness. My reception here had been enormously gracious and helpful--and I just left! Where was my heart and thinking? Real friendship and fellowship were offered--and I just left! This is very troubling for me. I would really like an excuse, and have tried for a few weeks to find one, but there is none. I was wrong to just leave when my problem seemed resolved, thanks to you. Please find it in your soul to forgive the ugly foolishness of an old man.

Hey...You guys, keep everything in perspective. This a forum for freedom of thought, not the Spanish Inquisition. Rufus, if you have a drinking problem, at least you know it! It doesn't necessarily mean you have a thinking problem.
True support does not come from this venue. I write to share and explain my views, just as if we were talking. Your friends and your family are true support. But, you are not anonymous to them....You are here, and that is relatively easy to espouse views that might be difficult to otherwise get across. If it helps to vent or share, give it a go. Nothing hurts worse than the pain you feel inside. We all have some of it.
