Who does that prosecutor think he is fooling with his "this doesn't happen in the US"?
Is he brain dead?
I am glad they have indicted this guy, I think it is because he is a weak link.
If this were a typical cop they would be covering for him.
This is because he is a college cop.

I heard that he was not on school property at the time of the stop. Also, why would he get involved in equipment violations, a missing front plate. That is not something school cops are supposed to look for. He lied, the other cop lied, and they need to prosecute both to start to break down that blue wall.

Thank you for reminding me that this may be the start of something good. Whatever the reason it may be the one small step we need to get people to realize that arrests for smoking, bail for a trumped up assault charge bogus, and that allowing people who are in your care to die without any attempt to keep them safe is a crime.

Notice what color they are…

Hero of the Day: Kentucky police officer John Nissen!
He went above and beyond for a grief stricken driver named Barbie Henderson.

While driving, Barbie got word of her sister's death and pulled over to the side of the road. She was too distraught to drive and didn't know what to do so she called 911.

That's when officer Nissen came on the scene and asked if he could sit and talk with her.

Nissen says: "I turned the air vents towards her – it was over 90 degrees that day – held her hand, and she cried on my shoulder. I had her take sips of water."

He stayed with her for an hour until another family member could come and get her home safely.

When Barbie's other sister, Shonda, arrived, she was so amazed by the officer's kindness that she took a photo of the two and sent it to the Hillview Kentucky Police Facebook Page.

She wrote:
"Officer Nissen was more than an officer yesterday. He was a person with a heart to understand this was a lady who just lost her sister. From there on he took care of my sister … What an awesome guy!!!!"

What does that have to do with a cop who shoots someone's face off?
Nobody here has ever claimed that every cop is bad.
Unlike folks from the right who have very often made sweeping claims about the failings of African Americans.

Amazing, a cop being human is so unusual that it gets major publicity. When it becomes commonplace, then we have arrived.

Just trying to provide a little contrast to all the media/OPP BS that suggests all cops are bad and can't wait to murder someone.

You should pay better attention. MO already posted about that LEO from SC who helped the KKK member.
It is not lefties who paint with a broad brush.
