Nice video, NPP. A community working together is a wonderful thing to watch. Our nation's rapidly deteriorating infra-structure could use many such undertakings.

I bet the Incas are not diverting money, labor, and grass to mass t***sit projects.
Very interesting. I lived in Belize, Central America for about 6+ months next to the Mayan Indians. They pretty much live like they did a thousand years ago. Thatched houses made of leaves and dirt floors. The elders of the village live on higher mounds. The Indians go up into the mountains to farm each day. We grew banana and orange trees. We were trying to teach them to grow on the low flat land, but to no avail. We were able to provide medical help to them occasionally and traded with them for corn tortillas and honey and red beans. The women washed their clothes in the fresh water stream that flowed behind us and would beat the clothes on large rocks to get the dirt out. They seemed to be a happy people. I suppose if something has worked for thousands of years, why change it?
