I really hope you are correct and the over two dozen articles from various sources I have read are all lying. Snopes has a "progress" take on most things, but I really hope they are correct in this.
Considering all the strange things that go in our food, like the anal gland excretions of beavers for instance, I would put nothing past the people who are willing to chop up parts of babies in third trimester a******ns however.
