Navigating a Bureaucratic Maze to Renew Food Stamp Benefits

...so help me understand why everyone thinks that food stamp benefits are some huge amount of money.
If you're an older American, what do you think about this...do you think we need to look that hard at this problem or just allow food stamps to end? Do you think that 150 billion dollars in fraud in Medicare is the problem or some 78 year old man not able to get $141 in food stamps a month?

You want old people's view. Here's mine. Most of the fraud in the Medicare system is committed by providers. We don't prosecute doctors, hospitals, or medical equipment providers. Dr Feel Goods get a slap on the wrist for taking our tax dollars and supplying drug dealers.
The food stamp program is the difference in many people starving or not. It needs more funding. Some of the dairy farmers threw away hundreds of gallons of milk to keep the price inflated. Nothing was done about this total waste.
Why not ask the Pentagon to return the billions they have stolen? Wall Street could pay back every penny used to bail them out with the same predatory interest rates bank charge. Social programs are not the biggest drain on society. That is total BS. The main problem in this country is; GREED.
