That they are. Makes one wonder what the heck is out there in outer space. Our earth is just an insignificant speck compared with some of those other planets. :shock:

It is quite amazing to be able to see such close photos of some the celestial bodies in our vast universe - but I tend not to see earth as just an insignificant speck. It is because of my personal spiritual beliefs that I believe we are a very significant planet - and a most awesome creation of all that is in the universe. From this perspective, it's all the more amazing to me that we exist :)

Yes of course in that respect we do seem a tiny planet. And there are stars that exist which are simply gargantuan. So are a speck by comparison, true.
