SPREAD THIS: Americans’ Stunning Response to Gay Marriage Decision… No One Saw This Coming

The United States Supreme Court recently handed down a 5-4 decision in favor of same-sex marriage, essentially erasing state and local laws to the contrary, and for all intents and purposes declaring same-sex marriage to be the law of the land.

Progressive liberals and supporters of the gay rights agenda crowed with delight at the decision, and many have been unable to restrain themselves from rubbing their victory in the face of those who hold an opposite view.

However, if the progressive supporters of same-sex marriage thought that everyone would simply fall in line and accept this landmark change, they were woefully mistaken.

A recent AP-GFK poll showed that support for same-sex marriage has actually dropped six percentage points since a similar poll was taken in April, before the massive Court ruling.

Only 42 percent of Americans now say they are in favor of same-sex marriage, compared with 48 percent in April.

According to Breitbart, the poll also revealed that a majority of Americans, 56 percent, believe the government should rule in favor of religious freedom whenever there is a conflict between it and same-sex marriage.

Much more closely split is the issue of local government officials “opting out” or exempting themselves from issuing same-sex marriage license or taking part in gay weddings, with 49 percent in favor of exemptions and 47 percent saying the law should take precedence.

Moreover, a full 59 percent believe that private businesses with religious objections shouldn’t be forced to participate in same-sex marriages, up from 52 percent in the April poll.

The progressive liberals and gay rights supporters thought the Obergefell v. Hodges decision would force those in favor of traditional marriage to shut up and simply accept this new way of thinking.

They couldn’t have been more wrong, and their actions following the monumental decision will likely cost them some of the support they thought they had locked up.

Americans don’t like to be forced to do things they don’t agree with, and they certainly don’t like being told that their long-held views are not only wrong, but h**eful and bigoted.

This poll shows who was really wrong.

The United States Supreme Court Is WRONG on Their Ruling Of Same-Sex Marriage PERIOD...

What Our Supreme Court should've Ruled was:

Marriage is State Licensed, however, if a Same-Sex Marriage is Legally Licensed in ANY State, that Marriage is Legally Licensed in EVERY State AND IS LEGALLY LICENSED AS FAR AS THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT IS CONCERNED...

And Our Supreme Court should've used, as the USA Constitution for Its Basis in Their Ruling, Article 4 Section 1:

"Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state."

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

You seem very educated on this subject so I will ask you. Why did Keegan and justice Sotomayor not recuse themselves since they had performed same sex marriage ceremonies? I have lost all faith in our three branches of government. Would liberals be fine with a justice who is a member of the NRA ruling pro Second Ammendmant?

No, they would be up in arms if a NRA member on the supreme court v**ed for the second amendment. (pun intended)
