Funny how the hysterical prognosticators of martial law via Jade Helm have gone quiet.
A sample from the Web....( I found many comments like this. Some Texas Republicans have publicly disowned this nonsense.)

"Governor Abbott could have said the right thing. He could have said that these troops are training to protect the United States of America, all of it. He dishonors his office by playing up to a VERY FEW loudmouth conspiracy nuts. He makes the rest of the state look foolish by having the Texas State Guard "monitor" the Jade Helm exercise. Ted Cruz is no better calling the Pentagon to check on Jade Helm. They both know nothing will happen, it's just a sorry low rent bit of politics they're playing.
These two i***ts could have said we Texans are proud to help out with defense of the nation but instead chose the low road and tried to make some cheap political gains."

I don't see where your problem is. Is it not understandable for people not to trust the government, considering how much we have been lied to?

As for Republican making cheap political points.....pffffft!!
Give up your party loyalty, and look around you!!
Both partys are corrupt, and dirty. Period.
It is the 'team' players who are ruining us!! I***ts!!

I wish this whole thing was about pushing back the Mexican, Central American, Middle Eastern/Muslim invasion we are faced with now!

Exactly right. The "Right Wing Nut Jobs" always stir up controversy and conspiracy, and then quietly disappear when their nonsensical BS never comes to fruition. Face it they're loons. They have said time and time again that Obama is a Dictator and will declare Marshall Law. Come Janurary 2017, they will once again be proven wrong, when a new President is sworn in. And once again they will mysteriously go silent again. They really need to seek professional help dealing with their mental issues.

Allegiance to any maggot politician is unpatriotic. Allegiance to the Muslim monkey in the mosque house is treason.

Oh very good reason to not trust any government that has ever been in this country given the history. My point is that a group of very prolific posters on this site went almost postal on this subject for several weeks, buying into the Alex Jones et al playbook and now as always their case appears to be totally discredited. I support the right to free speech no matter whom it may offend but I would point out that young disaffected men like Dylan Roof are easily impressed by older men around them and the excitement generated by exposure to extreme points of view that appear to offer them an escape from their marginal lives. I half expected to hear that some wild eyed nutter had taken potshots at the military during the exercise, (hopefully this will not happen.)
For the record I carry no water for either party. With the current state of politics in this country it is the Republicans, smarting from their two time defeat at the hands of the colored man in the white house who are running around making complete asses of themselves. No doubt when a Republican President is next elected twice, you will see a commensurate response from the far left. Until then Cruz and Trump will continue to be the ugly face of Conservatism until they are eliminated in the primaries.

This site has become 'conspiracy central anymore. I do wonder what will be next for 'Joe Six Pack' with the way things are going now. It doesn't matter what political label 'Joe' wears now. Joe is hosed by the 'elites' who are worshiped, and defended by so many!!

If you're talking about the Right Wing Nut Job turds, I guess you're right. But really there is no polishing those turds, they are what they are.
