I loved the video. You know I'm ecumenical. I love critters, doesn't matter. HOWEVER, the new puppy, Jenna, is making me appreciate my cats. Jenna, just 4 months old, weighing in at 32 lbs., already tries to chase deer. You don't see the cats stalking deer!! Jenna can't be trusted outside yet, so lots and lots of walks and, yes, I am now paranoid about becoming a lightning rod!! Oh, the simplicity of a litter box. I have yet had to figure out what one of the cats has done with my shoes, my glasses, my CELL PHONE, the cord to my COMPUTER, or why the cat food bag has a hole in the bottom of it, and no, it wasn't the cats. Yes, I do love this little girl dearly, but right this minute? Cats trump dogs!!

Jenna sounds like a challenge. Our new puppy CHAOS is somewhat of a challenge to. the breeder did give him a great deal of early obedience training however. when we got him at three months, diane already had taught him come, set, stay and to stand on a g***ming table to be brushed and trimmed. but he is amazingly active and can climb out of anything. apparently his grandmother can jump six feet up in the air and pull down the tarp off the dog run, so we are forewarned. After all grandmother is 15" at the shoulder and weighs 19 pounds. Puppies are a challenge, but Chaos is now in obedience class as well as all the work we put into him. Hard not to laugh when this 12 pound puppy chases both 150 pound Cane Corsos around telling them of in no uncertain terms. Cats are easier but you don't expect the cats to come, sit, stay, down, do figure eights by hand signal, walk at heal off leash in complicated patterns, and stay quietly by my desk for a half hour. But Chaos will have to do those things during his therapy training, and both Corsos already can do those things plus a lot more. Chaos has already gotten three mice and a chipmunk, so at least he is living up to his chores as a Welsh Terrier.
