MONDAY PRAYER NEEDS - 7/13/15
I will put Prayer Needs out twice a month, on Mondays. If you have needs or good news please let me know. If you have any corrections, let me know that as well. Thank you.
When it comes to prayer, remember why Jesus was always heard by His Father - He gave God His heart and His time, God in turn gave Jesus His ear. We can all learn from that, if it is important give God your time, you have given Him your heart.
GOOD NEWS
Let's start with NPP's Pete and David. Pete went to the July 4th party with his girlfriend. They did their dance with the goats. Good for them, thank you Lord for Your care of the children.
David seems to be gaining trust and more positive feelings about people, praise the Lord for that. He did some sketches of those at the July 4th party, and they were good. A lady from the church will be giving him lessons - more up-lifts for David.
AuntiE's best friend has completed her treatments. Good News - they are finished, and with that we pray all signs of cancer are finished off as well, never more to return.
I am happy to say that I have heard from Singularity, and some things seem to be looking up for her and her family. Do keep them in prayer.
NEEDS
Not everyone has the same depth of strength, they feel, "why did God let this happen to me?" They neglect to give Satan credit for evil, and turn their hearts to God and say, "Thank You, Lord for pulling me through this." So, keep the weak in your prayers.
bdamage brought a need to us for a neighbor named Dutch. She is in her late 80's. Things seem to be going downhill for her, the hospital has inserted a feeding tube. BD is caring for her golden retriever, Julie. Lord, we place Dutch in Your hands.
Roxy can use continued prayer as she is looking to more surgery come fall. The Lord has been good to guide the hands of the doctor's so far. Let's keep that in our prayers.
Roxy has asked that we keep in prayer a friend of her granddaughter's. This lady recently lost her husband to dementia, and now is concerned for her brother who is fighting for his life from an overdoes of Coumadin.
Roxy also has a good friend who's wife is undergoing surgery today. She fell and broke her leg and ankle.
LindaJoy's mother is being cared for by hospice, and they are increasing her med's. LJ's Aunt Nancy, who is her mother's sister, is not doing well either. The doctors say the cancer has spread to her lungs, spleen, and liver. It appears the time to grieve is fast approaching. LJ is a strong woman, but I can tell you having the support of prayer can carry you through with grace.
LindaJoy is still recovering from her auto accident. God is good, and has heard our prayers, but she still needs prayer to resolve some swelling and a few headaches, also she is still on a blood thinner - just in case. Prayers work, never give up - the Lord is good and true.
NanaSue - Between caring for grandchildren, her husband Tim, and family, she needs prayer for strength, patience, and discernment as to future decisions. Her daughter and son-in-law need to find jobs, slim pickings now, but something would be better than nothing. O Lord, come upon this family with Your love and care, open the door for some job opportunities as well. Thank You, Lord.
Searching needs our prayers to cover her complete recovery from any Lyme's disease symptoms. Her dog, Jenna sort of miscalculated and caused a bruised bone in her arm, that is quite painful. That doesn't help when it comes to caring for the llamas. AND, dear Lord, we ask that a roofer show up today and gives a bid on fixing the roof that will be reasonable, and that he gets at the work quickly. Any and all help from You, Lord, would be greatly appreciated.
Searching has a dear friend, Bob, who is in a special cancer study, and things aren't looking real good right now. Let's pray that it is 'darkest before dawn' for him, and that good news lies ahead. She has asked that we say an extra special prayer for both Anne, his wife, and Bob. They are special people. We need all the special people we can find, times are changing fast.
Armi has informed me that one of ours, Danelle, needs prayer for a personal situation in which she asks for wisdom, a calmness, and strength. Please be there with her Lord, we ask in Jesus name, thanking You and praising You.
MsAtta's daughter Shelia has developed a problem with her system in the manufacture and retaining of iron in her blood, it should be 8 hers was at 4. She just spent 3 days in the hospital to bring it up through IV drip. She will have to have regular follow-ups now to maintain a normal level through the IV drip.
NPP informed me that, Jori, their friend who had been in a car accident is back in physical therapy and sticking to it. She said that she had to do better because she felt a form of encouragement from unknown sources. thanks for praying for her. we know what the source is, even if she does not. See what prayer can do!!!! Please continue to pray that she keeps up her fighting spirit and feels Gods' love and strength with her.
NPP has informed me their friend Sheila, who has cancer is not doing well. Remember she has two teenage boys. I always feel as long as there is breath, God can change the course of things. The entire family needs our prayers.
As many of you may know, NPP has had quite a bout with back trouble, so keep him in prayer.
Slatten's grandson, Christopher remains the same, but he is holding his own so keep praying one of these days the Lord will wake him up.
AuntiE's dear UnclE has been suffering with back and knee injuries, as NPP knows that back can certainly incapacitate you.
Rufus, you are in our prayers for continual encouragement, we love you.
Caboose - my last prayer listed his need for prayer. I have not heard, but let's keep him in prayer as well.
Please continue to pray for a young man, call him Marie's ward, who has had a serious drug addiction, it appears he has been clean. Drugs are a scourge, don't give up on prayer for anyone you know is in need. The family can use prayer for all those who are affected by this situation.
Please continue to pray for the well being of the baby girl yet to be born, she is due in August.
We bring Miss Johnnie and Miss Rose to You, and ask that You help to alleviate their pain, and keep them in Your care.
Be with our troops, particularly the ones facing enemy forces. Keep them safe, and keep them and their families in Your care. We pray in Jesus name, thanking You, and praising You.
Keep our churches on message Lord, the message of the Bible and let their 'business' side take care of itself. Their real business is to lead Your flock, have it be with the truth. They have come under fire, Lord. Now is the time, for pastors to take a stand and ALL Christians to equally stand with them. Let us NOT bow to POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and deny what Your Word says. Thank You, Lord, for giving us courage - we will need it.
If the Lord doesn't answer your prayer right away, don't be a quitter, continue to stand on His Word, and continue to thank Him for your healing, and for the answer to your prayer. DON'T GIVE UP. continue to praise the Lord!
Also, remember, if you receive a word for someone, never just slough it off, it just may bring comfort to them.
We have people on OPP that suffer personal problems, depression, uncharted changes that cause dilemma, worries over family members, and finances, problems that are far too common place now. Some would like their names mentioned, others do not, so for the names we know -- Lord, You are aware of each individual on OPP, if they have asked for prayer we pray You will soon help them, and bring relief for their situation, if they have not asked - we pray You respond to their problems regardless. We thank You for Your caring hand to pass over them and ease whatever their ills may be. We pray in the name of Jesus, to the Father, the Son, and the holy Ghost. Amen.
Lord, first we ask that You forgive us our sins, next we ask that You come into our lives and touch us. Touch us Lord with Your healing hand, increase patience and fortitude where needed, increase our faith to know You are there, to know You hear us, and You care. Thank You, Lord for watching over each of us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
