V**ers See Very Different Healthcare Plans from Obama, Clinton, and McCain

I like to look back and see how things were being peddled in the old campaign and see the irony.

Obama was against a mandate except for children.
Clinton had the mandate idea.
McCain was for eliminating a tax break for employee plans while adding a tax break for everyone on the other hand.

Obama won the nomination, Clinton got her mandate added to Obama's platform and well McCain, you know.

We need to get the insurance companies out of our health care system. Everyone should pay for the own health care. Well how am I going to afford the operation I need? You financed your car and your home and most of your consumer goods were charged to a credit card. So either save your money or take out a loan. Once the doctors and hospitals realize that the insurance company aren't going to send them a check the cost of health care will come down. Think of it this way. If you eat a healty diet, excercise and don't take part in risky social behavior such as drinking, smoking, promiscuous sex you shouldn't have to pay for those people's problems. So you say your diabetic, stop eating sugar. Every time I see some guy wizz by me at 90 MPH on the interstate highway on their motorcycle, I know that down the road he is going to have a very expensive accident and health problem that I don't want to pay for.

Socialism is popular these days so the majority would love to have the sugar, alcohol, tobacco and motorcycle industry taxed to pay for all that stuff. Those industries probably saw it coming and helped push the mandate
