forgetfulness

tell me this wont happen to me
an elderly woman called 911 to report her car being vandalized.she hysterically explained that someone had stolen the steering wheel,the radio,the brake pedal and even the accelerator.a policeman responding to the call
radioed in "disregard,she got into the back seat by mistake"
sisters 92,94 and 96 live in a house together.
one night the 96 year old draws a bath,she puts her foot in the water and pauses.then yells to the other sisters"was I getting in or out of this bath tub?'
the 94 year old yells back"I don't know i'll come up and see". she starts up the stairs and pauses,then yells to the other sisters"was I coming up these stairs or going down?"
the 92 year old is sitting at the kitchen table drinking a glass of tea and listening to her sisters.Shaking her head she thinks to herself"I sure hope I never get that forgetful"
then she knocks on wood.' she yells to her sisters"I'llcome up and help yall as soon as I see who's knocking at the front door".
