Buy a hurting business, and sell it for more than he paid for it. or get it making money. The Donald bought business like this, borrow money on them. Then he used the borrowed money to fix up the business, then he would let the name of the business declare a chapter 11 . He and the courts would set down with them and they would work out a deal to pay back the loan. At times he would let the borrowers have a certain percent of the business or put the company on the stock exchange, selling thousands of shares. This way he got the loan paid, big profits, and never end up with a credit problem. Sometimes he might have to sell some other property or shares into other properties, but he came out ahead. He father Fred, left him some say up to 200 million dollars, but since 1974, he has many billions. This man knows how to get things done. He has my v**e.

While it is true Trump never declared bankruptcy himself, I believe he did allow a couple of failing companies he owned to go bankrupt.

SCOTUS says corp is a person so there's a case that trump did go bankrupt besides, same for GWB and failed bankrupt baseball team didn't stop from being elected prez. Most these guys are impulsive high risk high reward types so goes with personality they often miss a bet and go bankrupt. But corp bankruptcy not same as personal ... Former gets shamed latter is like some weird badge of honor gets you on list from private investment firms to throw money at you. Go figure?
