The i***ts in Congress? Yep, they are in charge and allowing some other i***ts to call the shots for them. Can we actually change anything that we may want changed with that bunch running things. I have read so many things today about things that should not be, like forcing cake bakers out of business if they refuse to bake for certain people. Are we really better off today than back then? I don't think so.

I take great exception to the redundancy of "The i***ts in Congress?"

Do you base your evaluation of this country on biased bakers who break the discrimination laws and then use their religion as an excuse. That route allows anyone to break any laws.

We do have the ability to change this country. First is to ignore the immense advertising that comes up before e******n time. Take the time out to look up the v****g record of those presently in office as well as those aspiring for a federal office who have served in State offices as well as down the line. It will take a bit of work and possibly cause you to sacrifice some of your TV-watching time. This is one manner in which you can truly get to understand the background and character of potential electees. Give up your party v****g ticket and learn who will actually represent you. One of the largest setbacks resulted from those who demand that the entire party v**e the same way. This doesn't allow their own party members to think for themselves but rather v**e because of threats to their own office or personal well-being.

The choice for the Republican nominee will be very enlightening as, in the past e******n, the opposing party (Democrat) did not have to sling mud at their Republican opponent. All those vying for the kingpin position did it all in their hunger to be numero uno. I make it a point to take a negative outlook on anyone attempting to demean their opponent on personal rather than political issues. Be repulsed by those types of attacks and pay attention to political issues.

I find Senator Sanders to be a breath of fresh air as he refuses to make personal comments on anyone (even when his interviewer attempts to get him to be negative) but stands on his own platform. Now that's a leader!

Just imagine that all the money involved in political ads went for naught. I'd find that very satisfying.

How many of the RINOs in Congress aren't i***ts? I ask that because they run with the Democrats on so many things.

Bernie is an admitted socialist and that forces me to v**e for anybody but him. I haven't seen one Democrat candidate since I left the party in 1972 who just wasn't too much of a socialist for me.

I bet you v**ed for Obama at least the first time and his v****g record in Congress was something to behold since he v**ed so few times from being out campaigning. No, knowing many v****g records just won't allow people to v**e for the fools.

That is the empathetic and understanding Liberal. It is not necessary for this country to become Socialist in order to enact some socialist-tending laws. I don't know what you're afraid of.
