It certainly took a lot fewer letters to explain it than to spell it.

Some more words to confuse, bet you can come up with more -

swims is the same word when turned upside down.
desert - abandon or area with dry climate
bass - a fish or an instrument
close - nearby or to shut
bow - a ribbon, to bend down, bow and arrow
wind - to wind up or a gust to blow
lead - to direct or a metal
record - such as a CD or set a speed record
bear - an animal or bear the cold weather
left - turn left or left behind

Here is one that has always bothered me Beark. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. But we also teach about Santa which spells Satan.

There is madness in the minds of those who are evil. They are the ones that decided when Christ was born - HOGWASH. The shepherds would NOT have been in the fields tending their sheep in winter, they would have had them closer to shelter. The angels came to them in the fields. This was some greek god, or other bogus god holiday that was pushed to keep the ignorant interested in that celebration date of time.

The same way with Easter, that date may be right, but the bunnies, chicks, and eggs all some fertility god garbage. And people bought it. Merchants found it was profitable so they really promoted it.

Even when Jesus walked, there were those who wanted to denigrate Him, and now they pull in all these false god rituals. Don't swallow it, Ruf, look for the t***h.

Don't worry. When we gather together for Christmas I make it a point to remind everyone what we are celebrating. I like to read from Luke and always give thanks to God for sending His Son to save us. I do not believe in Santa but wished it was not an American tradition. Thanks Beark. I am going for my after church nap.

Thank you Beark, thank you PoppaGringo, and BB, these lefties wear me out. When I spend time trying to reason with them to no avail it simply wears me out. I do take a lot of naps though. However a Sunday or Saturday after church or Temple nap is a tradition and a blessing. Would you agree PoppaGringo ?

Some of us just wish we could get a good night's sleep. I know Aunti would second that.
