I argued last week that Gay marriage is not about marriage at all. Instead, it is C*******t trickery intended to silence free speech and freedom of religion. C*******m cannot work if people worship God and not government. Well, it didn't take long. Read on...

In addition, yesterday it was announced during the evening news that accrediting bodies for colleges are already rewriting their standards. Those standards will not allow the wording of "marriage between a man and woman." I can't see that working so well for faith-based colleges, universities, or hospitals.

Why is it that only 3% of the populace is telling over 80% of the population what they can believe and say? I just don't get it. How did we let this happen?!?

Answers to your last paragraph...

1. 3% vs 80%? Love 'em or h**e 'em, the gay activist faction is well organized and fastidious in their passionate pursuit of "justice". Justice, being a somewhat subjective concept. That being said, I don't think they'll stop at being satisfied with the court's decision. They will now go on the offensive (operative word) and come after your first amendment religious freedom rights.

2. How? By sitting on the 'complacent' bench on the sidelines. You can't win by sitting in the bleachers. You must stand up and fight for what you believe in, or sit and watch the "t***sformation of the United States of America" take place. Too many have adopted the attitude, "let someone else take up that banner and fight, I'm too busy". Hint: there is no one else. It's YOU or no one. But if you have the courage to do so, you will be joined by an army. Courage is contagious, but it starts with you.

The Left is coming for you and your freedoms. What are you going to do about it?

What would George Washington do? Patrick Henry? Paul Revere or Samuel Adams? How about General Patton?

The answer is simple - LAWYERS. The way they ensure job security for their sons and daughters, who follow them into law, and ensure lucrative work - is to keep controversy alive and well on every possible issue.

We can thank the US Congress for showing the way, by suing their own President multiple times - using OUR money to do it and by writing stupid law that will ultimately wind up in multiple courts for multiple years and by refusing to enact any tort reforms ( which would be anathema to them, as most of THEM are lawyers ).

No matter WHAT we do - some asshole lawyer will challenge it - because that's what they do - that's how they buy their multi million dollar homes. expensive cars, aircraft, yachts, country club memberships, private schools for their kids, vacation homes in France and Australia,........

I agree, complacency is the easy way to go. It is what it is. The question going forward is, "What are WE going to do?"
