Who or what is going to be the basis for judging the good guys from the bad?

Just how good are you going to be in judging? Is the other person seeing you with a gun going to judge you right?

Or will it boil down to shoot first & judge later.
There has been talk about the need good people to carry guns to protect people from the bad guys with guns

I say the judgment will be wrong as often as it is right.

With life in the balance I don't like those odds.

To complicate things more, what if there is a third party or an official party (Plain clothed police or off duty police)?

I say if a person feels they need a gun on them where ever they go they are not as good a person as they think they are.

There is no way that you would ever make me believe that others are not in danger when two people start shooting at each other. Good or bad either person may shoot an innocent person.

I done care how quick you can draw & shoot there is some one faster. Days of the wild wild west all over again.

I think I am a good guy with out a gun & I will take my chances going out in public with out a gun.

I say my chances of being shot are greater if there is going to be other shooters in play.

We are dealing with some one who thinks they will be a hero & shot the bad guy.

The only way to address this issue is to create more armed guards who question every one every where.

What some may call a Police State.

This issue boils down to ending up in a battle between the good bad guys & the bad good guys.

Or call it a revolution.

Now we can have a gun less revolution or one with guns.

The average person is going to be collateral damage in a war with guns because the state has the better fire power & no matter how good you think you are you are the enemy of the state.

I say leave your guns at home or be like me who would rather have a war with words than guns.

Just remember as long as people like us refuse to see what the real problems are & find common ground to have our war of words those in power will just get more control over us.

There is much about our system that is good & needs to be saved & things that are not as good & need to be change.

But as long as people like us argue with each other, things will not get better in our day to day life's.

It is past time to see that there is no good that will come of shooting each other.

I respect, and appreciate your sentiment Floyd, but I will continue to carry mine. Especially at work, since my job is becoming riskier by the day. No one knows I have it, and I am well trained in it's use.

Statistics do not support what you are saying. I do agree it would be a utopia if there were not a need for guns. However you might ask France and other Countries if that was a wise decision. You like so many expect protection from a government. Fact is there is no forth coming argument once your dead. Like somethings carrying a gun is the lesser of 2 evils. Remember the gun is not the k**ler.

I would like to be serious for a moment. Yes i know many of you think I am unbalanced. That is ok because I know your unbalanced. What many of you have wondered and posted time after time. That uncertainty of who will fire the first shot. As a American and a true Patriot my demands are few and by the way are granted to me by the U.S. Constitution. Life, Liberty, Pursuit of happiness. When as American we loose all protection the time comes to stand by the law for the law. The first shot was just fired. Now is the time to make yourself heard. I pray it comes without violence but I think it is ordained. What the Supreme Court did was nothing less than i**********n. You have a right to your opinion. But before you judge I recommend you take a good long look at history. if you want to live in a world without hope be my guest. But do me a favor take your Progressive Ideas somewhere else. They have never, yes never worked anywhere in the past. Where have you come up with the idea you can make it work now.

Our government is against us now.

I am worried too. They are trying to destroy, and change people's core beliefs, and values to what they believe.
I see people in my circle growing more, and more disgusted every day. The Supremes have gone too far this time I think. We are headed for a train wreck for sure. Just stick to your guns buddy!! Pun intended!!
