It's Time for GOP to Embrace ACA Exchanges

"Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not destroy them" (Chief Justice Roberts, 6-25-15)

Republicans need to step up and do the same.

GOP ally big business is getting a boost from the decision so why not join them?

That would make them appear to agree with the democrats - about something - and that CANNOT happen, especially with P**********l e******n campaigning already under way. I'm wondering how 13 repetitions of "repeal Obama care" are going to play out before the republican primaries. If ALL the candidates are chanting the same mantra, how will repubs decide?

I agree. It looks like it is going to be a long campaign. I've already started thinking to myself, "there's always 2020".

I saw Rove on Fox and I think he is showing them the white board he had there of polling with majority disapproval of Obamacare and almost 200 polls since it passed with only one ever showing satisfaction with Obamacare.

So, I think that is the thing being peddled to all the candidates by Rove -- the majority of v**ers don't like it.

But I think Rove has been wrong before. I think he's lost his objective genius that made him. I only hear neighbors and relatives saying that it hasn't ruined their lives or America as it was projected to. I think America is going more liberal and they'll be mocking everyone who criticized obamacare.

The problem with those polls is, they tend to change depending on who's doing them. Taking a poll of the ACA, from amongst Republican v**ers, is ALWAYS going to show disapproval - and that's what candidates use - because that's who they're wanting to v**e for them.

I don't know of it's even possible to do/get and unbiased poll or survey. I've participated in many of them and I can always tell what conclusions they're wanting, by the questions and the way they're asked. When I examine the results - behold! - they said exactly what I figured they would. I've even answered antagonistically - and it affected the outcome of the survey - not at all.

A candidate that accepts the ACA as being a republican plan to begin with all along and that supports the insurance market will eventually be needed past the primary. No matter what sweet talk they may have, the Hillary is going to spin the video clips about how they want to abolish subsidies and destroy obamacare as the next president. Main street and all the liberals will get riled over that.

It's time for the GOP to embrace ACA exchanges as increasing business for the insurance industry.

Okay, you are saying that I am supposed to change my opinion of a law that:

1) Hasn't been fully implemented, because the mandates required to fund it fully have been delayed for political expediency,

2) Gained some support by the telling of proven lies,

3) Exempts those that v**ed for it and those that ruled on cases that affect the rest of us.

True, but the way it is going, it is more and more likely to succeed with big business interests wanting it to work. The stocks tied to obamacare went up with the supreme court decision.

As it get's closer to November 2016 and it is limping by, it will be similar to "Where are the Weapons of Mass Destruction?" campaigns the liberals had done.

Just thinking ahead because I don't thing the GOP has their research fine tuned when they explain the whole obamacare mess is going to fail. Similar to being convinced Mitt was a shoe-in using their polls.
