The Republican mainstream support of the Confederate battle f**g and so called "southern heritage" is nothing more than pandering to the fringe peckerwoods, Birchers and Klansmen that make up the base of the party. Like other signs of overt r****m the stink on the f**g just became too great to ignore. The Republicans have a trickery tightrope to walk, they need to convince their backward base that they h**e people of color and non Christians but do it in a subtle enough way that they don't alienate the centrists they need to win e******ns.

What was one of the first things the US military did after the invasion of Iraq? That's right destruction and removal of statues and pictures of Sadam Hussein, in Germany the allies destroyed every swastika and n**i f**g they found. This is not removing history, it is cleansing the country of the symbols of a defeated enemy. History is for text books and museums, only a fool would think that removal of the battle f**g of a defeated enemy will lead to changing the American f**g. By the way the vast majority of Muslum Americans love our f**g and country just as much as the vast majority Christian Americans do.
