SC Gov. Nikki Haley to Call for Removal of Confederate F**g

I believe the SC had a referendum that decided that the Confederate f**g should fly on the capital grounds. Does the Gov. have the authority to override the peoples v**e?

Personally I don't care what they do about the f**g

I expected as much.

The PC crowd has won another victory.

But on the upside, there won't be any more r****t murders in SC from now on.

Right now, out of respect for Senator Pinckney it is the most reasonable decision. Legislature can reverse the governor later, if they want.

The politics of this is such that in a couple years, it could be put on an e******n b****t and the sons and daughters of the confederacy will get it lifted back up on state property.

The point is, it is a matter for the people of SC to decide, not some Hobbit Dancer from Hollyweird, Mexifornia.

It's way out of proportion at the moment. If they don't follow the Indian-American SC governor's advice, look at protests going from 2,000 to 2,000,000. It's just a f**g and it's ridiculous to get all riled up about it but b****s are hurting now and if it appeases them, good. It's not like it would be banned from license plates or personal property. While they're at it, go ahead and take the crescent moon off the SC f**g. It's a symbol of Islam.

I live in SC, and I don't give a skinny rat's ass about whether the confederate f**g flies on the Statehouse grounds, or not. I do care that we have a governor that is shallow and stupid enough to think that the f**g being there is actually significant to the events in Charleston.

I don't think it's dumb to try and make folks feel better who are hurting. I thought it was a nice gesture.

It's true real good people are hurting.

What do we change for all the people that are hurting in Baltimore? Families of murdered cops? Families of drug dealer shoot-outs?

I have no dog in this fight.

But everyone knows that this is a meaningless gesture that will do nothing to curb the problem.

Do you think the mother of the next victims of some violent moron in SC will say to themselves "My kid might be dead, but at least that damn f**g is gone."?

That's how I see it too. R****ts hijacked the reb f**g as their symbol and yanks and b****s only see it as a bad thing anymore. South doesn't need f**g anymore but won't do anything taking it away. There will always be hurt. Even having a black president can't undo the hurt so what's a f**g removal going to accomplish? Nothing.

Having a black POTUS could have helped... Or having any POTUS that wasn't a race-baiting hack determined to divide America.

Race relations aren't worse that when Bush left office because Bush is white and Obama black.

They're worse because Bush brought people together, had honor, and personal dignity. Obama OTOH... Notsomuch
